Puerto Rico's Rx To Prevent Diabetes and Cancer!

                                   Enjoying A  Puerto Rican Dish!
Are you aware that having widly fluctuating blood sugar levels
can increase your chances of getting diabetes?
If you are aware of this news, now there's more bad news-
concerning blood sugar.

The bad news: Out-of-control blood sugar levels can also increase
cancer levels. How? By fueling the growth of abnormal cancer cells.
But wait, there's a way to reduce risk factors and it comes from
our Puerto Rican brothers and sisters,
The secret: Rice and Beans!

That's right- the dish Puerto Ricans eat daily,
the way Americans eat burgers and fries is a great way to lower
diabetes  and cancer rates.

Beans are chock-full of appetite-suppressing protein, and rice is
packed with sugar-stabilizing fiber and B vitamins. And combined,
they help you feel full for a longer period of time. And even better news-
the more beans you eat, the smaller your waistline will be. This may
explain why Puerto Rico has way fewer overweight people than the U.S.

So, if you're a beef and French fry eating machine, maybe it's time
to take a note from Puerto Rico and eat more rice and beans.

And here are some more ways to lower blood sugar levels and never
develop diabetes or cancer.
a) Eat more raw veggies.
b) Drink a glass of wine or two.
c) Use more Olive Oil.
d) Eat more slowly.
e) Have your blood sugar levels checked regularly.
That's it- An easy and delicious way to avoid 2 deadly diseases.

Good Luck!
