Enjoy Better Health This New Year!
A new year is already here and if "eating right" or "detoxing" is
on your agenda, then you may want to add some fruits that don't
normally get any press or attention.
In the U.S. we're accustomed to bananas, apples, berries, pears,
and avocados and if we (Americans) want to try something
exotic or outside the box- we try kiwi, plantains or pomegranates.
But hold on, what about the fruits that the people of Sri Lanka,
Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic
eat?
Not sure what fruits they eat?
Well, how about Lychees, Dragonfruit, Starfruit, Guava and Kumquats.
Look for these "super fruits" at your produce store, Asian or Latin markets
or larger supermarkets.
Eat more of these fruits for the new year and you can expect benefits like...
* Youthful Skin-
Eat guavas a few times a week and turn back the clock on your skin.
Another benefit: Like tomatoes and watermelon, guavas are "natural sunscreen."
Don't spend a ton of money on sunscreen, eat your sunscreen.
* Lower Diabetes Risk-
With Dragonfruit. This fruit improves insulin sensitivity and slows glucose absorption,
helping to cancel out blood sugar spikes from high carb and sugary foods you take in.
* Reduce Belly Fat-
Concerned about the size of your belly? Do what a lot of people in Asian
countries do and eat Lychees. These sweet Asian treats have a ton of fiber
in them and that fiber breaks down fat and even blocks it (fat) from being absorbed into
your system.
* Lower Cholesterol Levels-
Concerned about high cholesterol? Be more worried about high blood pressure
and if your doctor wants you to go on statins (to bring down your cholesterol levels)
tell him or her- "I'll lower it myself with Kumquats"
* Forever Young-
Slow down aging to your cells and even lower Alzheimer's risks with
Starfruit.
That's it- 5 "Superfruits" that'll help you look and feel better this New year.
One last tip: If you live in a sun-drenched country or just concerned about the
damage the Sun can do (to your skin) head on over to Amazon.com/the kindle
store and type Natural Sunscreen At The Supermarkets, in the search bar.
Download it and save a lot of money on Sunscreen.
Good Luck!
