The French-Italian Breakfast Rx For More Energy!

                                    An Appetizer For Breakfast!

We won't bore you with any more news about the importance of eating
a good breakfast, (more energy, fewer cravings later in the day,
it boosts metabolism, less risk of getting diabetes)

No, we're just here to tell you if coffee and donuts or pop tarts
and milk or even a green smoothie is your preferred breakfast,
you may to take after your French and Italian brothers
and sisters and have an appetizer.

An appetizer?
Yes, the recipe is for  Bruscheta (the Italian influence
and it uses a Baguette- the French influence).
To make this delectable Breakfast Bruscheta...
Saute some cherry tomatoes in a frying pan with some
oregano, basil or parsley (or use all three) and a little olive oil.

Just saute until the tomatoes are soft. Slice a whole grain baguette down the
middle and add some cream cheese (low-fat or regular)
and then add the tomatoes on top.
If you like--you can heat it in the oven or eat it as is.
Watch the cream cheese in the oven.

This food combo is a mixture of protein and carbs
which will decrease appetite for fatty foods (later in the day)
and give you a steady stream of energy, (unlike sweets, which
give you an instant energy boost, then cause you to crash)
allowing you to get more done throughout the day.

Good Luck!
