Eat Like A Thai To Improve Health!
Thailand like a lot of countries is cloaked in mystery.
Yes, you may know a few things about their weather,
or the language they speak, but what else do you know?
Exactly, for instance, do you know some of the foods
that the people of Thailand eat to stay so hale and hearty?
Well, not many people do, but if you look below,
you'll see some of the foods the people eat on a regular basis.
a) Limes-
Used to season stir-fries, the way Americans use salt and the more
lime you use, the healthier you'll be.
Healthier how?
Limes will help you look and feel younger.
Limes are a citrus fruit and that means they're high in vitamin C,
the vitamin that heals damaged skin and makes collagen, the protein
that gives skin that plump, youthful look.
One word of caution about limes...if you plan on cooking with or
adding them to an adult beverage, make sure to clean your hands
after handling them. Going out into the Sun with lime juice on
your hands, arms, etc, may result in a very serious rash.
b) Scallions-
Often overlooked in most households, but not in Thailand and if you
want a stronger heart, a reduced chance of getting a stroke
and protection from breast and prostate cancers, then add some scallions to
your meat or egg dishes or veggie stir-fries.
Scallions, which are in the onion family, help widen blood vessels,
and stop blood platelets from clumping. They also help shut down
cells that may turn into cancer.
c) Chili Peppers-
Hot dishes are a popular commodity in many parts of the World
and if you use them, give yourself a pat on the back, because
chili peppers can lower blood pressure, boost energy levels,
help you slim down and preserve food that may get spoiled
in hot weather (like Thailand's).
That's it, 3 food tips to improve your health and your looks,
from the mysterious country known as Thailand.
And one more thing, don't forget to head to Amazon.com/the
kindle store, and pick up a copy of The Supermarket Rxs To
Sun-Proof Your Skin! If you plan on being outdoors for the next month or two and want some protection from the Sun's
harmful rays (do it with food), download a copy. See title at right.
Good Luck!
