The Moroccan Dish To Slow Down Aging!

Eat Moroccan Beef and Potato Stew!

Folks are trying any and everything to stave off the aging process:
Endless hours of exercise, trips to anti-aging specialists,
expensive surgeries, bland-tasting juices and smoothies and
on and on.

But what about food?
Yes, food and we don't mean baked fish and salad or unappetizing
vegan fare, no- you can eat a hearty meat and potato dish and still
live a few yrs. longer.

The Dish:
It's quite popular in many Arab countries and it may explain
why so many people who live there have youthful skin, hair, boundless
energy and fewer diseases  and illnesses.
Researchers say avoiding compounds called "AGE's"
can keep your skin firm and wrinkle-free, while also reducing your odds of
getting heart disease, diabetes and some cancers.

And what are AGEs, you ask?
When excess sugars bind to- and damage --proteins in your body,
and luckily, for you, your brothers and sisters from Morocco can help,
how?
By giving you a dish that'll do all of the things mentioned above to help you slow
down the aging process.

The Dish:

Moroccan Beef and Sweet Potato Stew!
Ingredients:
2 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cayenne
1/2 cup raisins
3 lbs. beef stew /cut into 1" or 1 1/2 " cubes 3
sweet potatoes- 3 -- peel and cut into 1' pieces
3 Tbs. all-purpose flour
1 can diced tomatoes- 15 or 16 oz.
Couscous or rice, cooked 3 to 4 cups, place on a large platter.
more salt
garlic and onion powder
almonds, chopped and parsley, fresh or dried, 1 Tbs. (optional)
---------------------------------------
Directions:

Combine flour, cumin, cinnamon, salt and cayenne in a medium or large sized
slow cooker. Add the raisins, beef, and potatoes, stir a few times.
Pour in the tomatoes, cover and allow to cook for 8 to 9 hrs.
After the 8 hours are up, turn off the slow cooker, wait a few minutes
and ladle the meat, tomatoes and potatoes over the rice or couscous.

And lastly, add some salt, onion, garlic powder, almonds and parsley.
----------------------------------------
More info regarding AGEs.
a) Beef-
Although it gets a bad rap, beef is a top source of special compounds
that stops sugars and proteins from binding to form AGEs.

And get this--eating more beef can slow the aging of your skin,
muscles and organs.
Not a meat eater? Fiber One and All-Bran cereals will keep
blood sugar levels low, reducing AGE production by 30%.
b) Spices and Herbs-
In a number of foreign countries the people use a number of different spices
and herbs. They use them in soups, stews, and in hot water, (to make teas)
and that's a good thing- why? Compounds in a lot of herbs and spices make

protein molecules less "sticky" so it's harder for sugars to latch onto them to
make AGEs.
c) More Fruit-
Another way to avoid developing too many AGEs--eat fruit, especially

fruit with the peels on. (Plums, apples, pears, peaches, etc)
You should definitely eat fruit if you tend to eat a diet that contains
lots of processed foods.

d) Slow Cooking-
You may want to take less time and use a big soup pot and cook the stew in
less than 2 hrs. and that's a bad idea, why?

Cooking on lower temperatures,  cuts the number of AGEs.
Stir frying is okay. Why? You only use high heat for 1 to 5 mins.

That's it, another tip to help you live longer and look better.

Make sure to give thanks to your brothers and sisters from Morocco.

Good Luck!

The Other Happiest Place On Earth!

                                    Boost Happiness Levels Naturally!

If you've been following the news this past week then you're well aware
that Denmark was named happiest country in the World, again.
That's right, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Finland and Sweden
also finished in the top 5 and all are Scandinavian countries.

But wait a minute, there's another country out there that wants some of
that recognition.
The Country:
Brazil.
And why Brazil?

The people are upbeat and optimistic.
And there's more and to find their other secrets--continue reading...

a) Dance-

If you're familiar with Brazil and the culture, then you know the people love
to dance. And if you're not a fan of dancing, you may want to start, why?
People who dance on a regular basis are less depressed, in better shape
and look younger.
b) Bowls of Fruit-

In the U.S. dessert may be a big slice of pie or cake and ice cream, lots
of ice cream.

But not in Brazil, to cap off a good meal the Brazilians eat fruit.
And if you adopt this practice- you can expect better health (especially heart health)

better moods and a stronger  sex drive.
c) Rice and Beans-
Meat is considered a dish that's reserved for special occasions or for the rich

and if you start eating more rice and beans, you can expect better heart health,
reduced risk of getting diabetes and better focus.
d) Guarana-
What is Guarana?
It's fruit with twice the caffeine of coffee. Brazilians are big coffee drinkers,
but for those who don't drink coffee, there's Guarana.
It's added to fruit juice and soda and the extra caffeine it contains will help

boost your energy levels.
Look for Guarana soda online at Amazon.com/ or Walmart.com.
One more tip: If extra caffeine causes you problems, avoid Guarana.
e) The Sunlight-
Yes, the Sun gets a bad rap here in the U.S. but not in Brazil, Jamaica,

Fiji or Tahiti and you live in a spot where there's an abundance of Sun,
take advantage.
Why? Sunlight increases your joy, keeps bones strong, raises sex drive,

helps you sleep, improves your breathing, and lowers certain cancers,
like breast and prostate.

That's it, and if there's any doubt that happiness can only be found in Denmark,
Iceland or Norway, stop that line of thinking and remember there's always
Brazil.

One last tip-
If you want more info on the benefits of fruit for sex drive or the real reasons
Scandinavians are happier and healthier, head on over to Amazon.com/the kindle

store and type Natural Libido Boosters Just For Women or The Nordic Secrets
For Perfect Health in the search bar.

Good Luck!

Asia's Recipe For A Flatter Stomach!

The Secret Recipe For a Flatter Stomach!

When it comes to aging well and maintaining weight a lot of people look to
the Asians.
Their ability to maintain weight has a lot of people in other countries
hoping for that kind of success.
Well, hope no more, a top nutritionist has come up with a dish that
uses a lot of ingredients that are so popular in Asian culture
and if you want to trim down (especially in the belly area) you too,

should start eating this dish.
The dish: Beef Fried Rice.
We know, fried rice and beef?
Yes, beef -although it gets a bad rap, helps speed up metabolism and
cuts cravings and the rice-it steadies blood sugar levels,  and since it's
rich in fiber and other nutrients, it lowers the insulin production
that triggers the fat.
So, if you're a fan of beef, rice and a flatter stomach, make the following dish.
Beef-Fried Rice..

Ingredients:
1 cup of uncooked brown rice-
2 boneless beef rib-eye steaks, cut 3/4" thick, about 8 oz. each.
2 Tbs. lite soy sauce
1 tsp. instant coffee powder
6 tsp. oil, (peanut, walnut, coconut or olive)

1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup thinly sliced mushrooms

2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup thinly sliced scallions (optional)
------------------------------------------------------------
Directions:

Cook the rice according to the directions on the box.
Cut beef crosswise into 1 X 1/8 inch strips
Mix soy sauce and coffee powder until coffee dissolves.
In a large nonstick skillet, heat up 2 tsp of the oil
over medium-heat until hot.
Add the onions and mushrooms, fry for a min. or two,

add the eggs-cook stirring occasionally, about 1 minute.
Stir in the rice, soy sauce,  cook for another minute,
Remove the contents of this skillet to a large plate
and keep warm. Add half of the beef to the skillet with some oil and cook until

the beef is no longer pink, remove it and place it on a plate and add the rest of
the beef and oil and cook until beef is no longer pink, after that add the rice
and beef to the skillet and allow it cook for another minute (stirring well)

or until heated through, remove from the skillet and sprinkle with scallions.
And there you have it, a belly-flattening dish that would make you the envy of
people everywhere, (especially in Asian countries)..
Also helpful:
If you like your fried rice spicier, by all means go ahead and indulge.
Spices like cayenne pepper, cumin, ginger, and cinnamon, all encourage

fat cells to use blood sugar for fuel, before it becomes stored as fat.

Good Luck!
