The Other Happiest Place On Earth!

                                    Boost Happiness Levels Naturally!

If you've been following the news this past week then you're well aware
that Denmark was named happiest country in the World, again.
That's right, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Finland and Sweden
also finished in the top 5 and all are Scandinavian countries.

But wait a minute, there's another country out there that wants some of
that recognition.
The Country:
Brazil.
And why Brazil?

The people are upbeat and optimistic.
And there's more and to find their other secrets--continue reading...

a) Dance-

If you're familiar with Brazil and the culture, then you know the people love
to dance. And if you're not a fan of dancing, you may want to start, why?
People who dance on a regular basis are less depressed, in better shape
and look younger.
b) Bowls of Fruit-

In the U.S. dessert may be a big slice of pie or cake and ice cream, lots
of ice cream.

But not in Brazil, to cap off a good meal the Brazilians eat fruit.
And if you adopt this practice- you can expect better health (especially heart health)

better moods and a stronger  sex drive.
c) Rice and Beans-
Meat is considered a dish that's reserved for special occasions or for the rich

and if you start eating more rice and beans, you can expect better heart health,
reduced risk of getting diabetes and better focus.
d) Guarana-
What is Guarana?
It's fruit with twice the caffeine of coffee. Brazilians are big coffee drinkers,
but for those who don't drink coffee, there's Guarana.
It's added to fruit juice and soda and the extra caffeine it contains will help

boost your energy levels.
Look for Guarana soda online at Amazon.com/ or Walmart.com.
One more tip: If extra caffeine causes you problems, avoid Guarana.
e) The Sunlight-
Yes, the Sun gets a bad rap here in the U.S. but not in Brazil, Jamaica,

Fiji or Tahiti and you live in a spot where there's an abundance of Sun,
take advantage.
Why? Sunlight increases your joy, keeps bones strong, raises sex drive,

helps you sleep, improves your breathing, and lowers certain cancers,
like breast and prostate.

That's it, and if there's any doubt that happiness can only be found in Denmark,
Iceland or Norway, stop that line of thinking and remember there's always
Brazil.

One last tip-
If you want more info on the benefits of fruit for sex drive or the real reasons
Scandinavians are happier and healthier, head on over to Amazon.com/the kindle

store and type Natural Libido Boosters Just For Women or The Nordic Secrets
For Perfect Health in the search bar.

Good Luck!

Boost Happiness Secrets From Scandinavian Countries!

                               Live Happily Like A Scandinavian!

According to a recent survey, five out the top ten "happiest"
countries in the World are Scandinavian countries.
How is that possible considering the dark and dreary
Winters the people have to endure.
Well, it's easy and it may have to do with their
thinking, their positive thinking.
That's right and if a bad attitude is something you're
dealing with and you'd like to change, perhaps
some tips from your friends in Denmark, Sweden or Iceland
may help.

The tips:
a) Count Your Blessings-
Instead of living for more money or that bigger, more expensive
car, focus on the things you do have, family, friends, hobbies,
and time just to be.
Studies show that taking time to appreciate what you do have,
will help you feel happier and less stressed.
Another secret- showing more gratitude releases relaxing doses
of the feel-good chemical dopamine.
To show more gratitude and count your blessings,
take some time during the day or right before bed, and think
of at least one thing you're grateful for.
b) Stop Competing-
Concerned about your coworker making more? Or do you spend
time wondering how a celebrity spends their money?
Scandinavians make about the same (in pay) so they don't use a minute
of their time thinking about what their
neighbor makes or their coworkers purchase of
a house or car. Spending time worrying about others
only makes you unhappier.
Instead, take time to think about what you really need to make

yourself happy and then go about making changes so those things can come true.
c) A Tip From Iceland-
The formal greeting in Iceland is Komdu soell, literally means
"come happy" and they don't say goodbye, they say-"go happy"
These pleasant turns of phrases help them stay upbeat.
Because the language and happiness centers of the brain
are so closely linked, the brain can't tell the difference between
what we say and what actually is.
So, remember--positive words go a long way in brightening
up your day. And also important- the Icelanders use these
tips despite a few hrs. of Sun each day in the Winters.

That's it- and if you want more tips on how the
people of Scandinavian countries may hold the key
to living well into your 80's and 90's without diabetes,
strokes, heart attacks, depression and Alzheimers,
head online to Amazon.com/the kindle store and download

Happiness Secrets From Around The World!

                            Head To Bhutan For Happiness!

As promised, here are the "happiness" secrets from Bhutan,
one of the poorest countries in the World.
a) Surround Yourself With Happy People-
If you read yesterday's post, then you remember this tip
from the "happiness" secrets from Napa Valley, Cal.
It just means hang out, have meals and spend time with
people who are positive and upbeat. Researchers say we
copy the behavior of those around you. And if you have kids,
make sure you surround them with positive people.
b) Surround Yourself With Inspiring Messages-
Similar to post above, it simply means you should surround yourself
with upbeat proverbs and inspirational sayings.
In Bhutan, the people don't have billboards with pithy sayings,
but they do have-flags with positive messages.

To find inspiration in your life, follow someone on Twitter
who dispenses positive messages like Rev. Run or LLCoolJ.
Or go online to QuoteGarden.com, copy something that appeals

to you and read it before leaving for work or school and again
at night.
c) Do Something Hard-
Give up on something when it becomes difficult? Not the people of Bhutan,
they love a challenge and stick it out to the the end.
People feel a rush of pride after successfully accomplishing something
that's very challenging.
Your assignment- Do something- whether it's learning a new language
or doing something on your computer other than send e-mails
and see if it doesn't feel you with pride.
d) Do This Exercise-
You won't see the people of Bhutan in the gym exercising for hrs.
nor will you see them jogging for miles each day, the exercise
that's very popular- Taking slow, deep breaths and meditating.
Doing this for a few weeks helps lower stress levels and helps build
up your compassion for others. A woman who did the slow breathing exercises
for a few wks. was able to end the negative thoughts and anxiety that plagued
her for yrs.
Go online to Google.com and type how to slow breathe or meditate
in the search bar.
e) Remember Karma-
What you put out in the universe, you'll get back.
That's what the people of the Bhutan think, and so do a lot of people

from a lot of countries. Doing good and helping others helps you
feel more optimistic, less stressed and feel a sense of self-worth.
Your Assignment- Do something good (big or small) and see if you
feel better. Pay for the people who are behind you at the toll booth,
help an elderly man or woman across the street, or donate to a charity
that helps animals or people involved in fires or other unfortunate mishaps.

That's it- and remember, if things aren't going the way you want,
think of the people of Bhutan. No matter how dark and bleak
things are, they're always smiling.
See title at right.

Good Luck!

Happiness Secrets From The World's Happiest Places!

                                           Boost Your Happiness Secrets!

If you're like most people-you want good health, a few dollars in the

bank, strong ties to families and friends and happiness.
If being happy is a goal you hope to achieve in your old age,
you're in luck.
According to some surveys, there are 2 spots in the World that'll
boost your happiness levels. The 2 spots... one is in the U.S. and the other
is nestled high atop the Himalayan mountains.

Where are these 2 hot spots?
One is in Napa Valley California (aka Wine country)
and the other is Bhutan!
So, look below and find out their secrets for unending bliss.
Napa Valley California-
a) Stay After The Meal-
Simply stated-Linger after the meal. It's called the "slow food
movement" and sitting down enjoying the meal and the conversation

can boost happiness. Eat fast and avoid conversation and you miss out
on really tasting the food and building relationships.
b) Hanging With Happy People-

Avoid people who gossip endlessly and keep you mired in negativity.
Being around people who are upbeat and positive can be contagious
and they help you feel better, become more productive and less stressed.
c) Avoid These Words-
Swear words to be exact. You may feel good as you're saying them,

but they can bring down your moods and the moods of those you're
using the words against. And using profanity frequently makes those
close to you feel less connected and may even cause depression levels
to increase. So, choose your words wisely.
d) Enjoy The Outdoors-
People in Napa Cal. spend more time outside than people anywhere
else in the U.S. and there's a reason for it: Being outdoors in the
sunlight raises your levels of dopamine and serotonin. (both are
nuerotransmitters) that boosts moods and reduce stress levels.

And don't believe the hype about the diabolical effects of the Sun,
the more vitamin D (you get from the Sun) the better your health.
It (the Sun) helps lower your risks of everything from Cancer to
depression to sexual problems.
e) Drink Up-
It's not called "Wine Country" for nothing.

Napa valley is home to over 300 wineries and a glass a day can
lower blue moods, keep weight down, lower risks of Alzheimer's
and heart disease and keep you looking a few yrs. younger than
your actual age.

That's it- 5 reasons the people of Napa Valley California
may the happiest people in the U.S.
Tomorrow- find out why the people of Bhutan have been named
the happiest people outside of the U.S.

And for those who are concerned about skin, lung, cervical,
colon, thyroid, throat, breast and stomach cancer...look
for our new E-book- The Superfoods That Prevent Breast Cancer
and other Cancers. Learn the foods that'll make your body a fortress
against harmful cancer cells. Available at Amazon.com/in the Kindle store.

Middle Eastern Spice Rx To Treat Depression!

                               Boost Moods With A Spice!

A popular spice used in Middle Eastern cooking and in traditional Persian medicine
to relieve stomaches, ease the pain of kidney stones and treat depression.

The Spice: Saffron!

Saffron has been around for thousands of years and is even mentioned in the Bible.
Helping rice taste and look more colorful is only one benefit.
The other...A natural alternative to treat depression.

When patients were given either saffron or a small dose of Prozac daily,
and after a few weeks both groups reported feeling equally more upbeat,
but the saffron users had no negative side effects.
Even better, the saffron users didn't report any changes in libido,
(some Prozac users report loss of libido).

So, if you're suffering from a mild (not dire, end of the World) depression,
perhaps a trip to the health-food for some Saffron, may be just what you need.
Find it in tea form or as a dried extract, and one more thing- Saffron comes with
a steep price tag.

Good Luck!
