The Greek's Herbal Rxs For Better Health!

                           Live Long Like A Crete!

Crete- a picturesque isle off the coast of Greece, is now being recognized by
natural healers, medical professionals and researchers as a place where living to
age 80, 90 and beyond is becoming the norm.
And why is it happening?
Strong family ties
Walking long distances
Strong coffee
Fish
Vegetables and fruits
and herbs.

That's right- herbs. If you're a resident of the U.S. you may think salt, pepper
and cinnamon are the only things that should go on food or a hot beverage,
but not in China, India, France, Italy, Puerto-Rico,  Poland or Greece.
In these countries, you'll find a lot of meals and beverages being flavored
with anise, cilantro,  nutmeg, chives, curry, turmeric, saffron, and Cumin.

And if you find your way to Crete, you'll most likely be introduced to
bay leaves, olive leaves, thyme, milk thistle and fennel and if you're not sure
how these herbs benefit your health, just look below...

a) Milk Thistle-
Liver need rebuilding? Look no further than Milk thistle.

M. T. is a natural filter for your liver, purging pollutants, heavy metals and pesticides.
Look for milk thistle in capsule form at health-food stores.
One word of caution- it's best to take this under the supervision of your doctor.

b) Thyme-
Used for centuries to quell endless coughing, it's now being used to help those
who need a natural digestive aid. Yes, probiotics are getting a lot of attention,
and thyme is a great way to help restore "friendly bacteria" to your gut.

Look for fresh or dried thyme at supermarkets and add some to a soup, stew or tea,
or look for thyme in capsule form at health-food stores.
c) Bay Leaves-
You may recognize those thick, hard green leaves known as bay leaves as something
you add to a pot of sauce, soup or stew, but today- Bay leaves can help those
who suffer from aches and pains. And there's more- they also help those who are
at risk for blood clots, (long distance travelers or people sitting for long periods of time)
Look for bay leaves at supermarkets and place a few in a pot of water and let simmer

for 15 to 20 mins. allow the water to cool and drink up.
Or add some to warm bath to help erase those achy joints.
d) Fennel-
Popular in France and Italy as well and if you're a woman who's beset with
female problems- painful cramps or pregnancy cravings, then you must eat
and drink more fennel.
Look for it fresh or dried at supermarkets, (look for ways to cook it
on Google.com) or use the dried version to make fennel tea.
e) Olive Leaf=

Most of us know all about olives and olive oil, but the Cretes know all about the
olive leaves. And if you want to reduce blood pressure, keep your heart in tip-top

shape and block the spread of viruses, then you must add these green leaves
to your daily regimen.
One last benefit: olive leaves pack twice the antioxidants of green tea.

Look for olive leaves in capsule form and remember- do not add any type of
plant, nutrient, or vitamin without consulting with your personal physician first.

That's it- and if you want tips on how certain populations around the world
live such long and vigorous lives, head on over to Amazon.com/the kindle store

and type The Asian, French, Greek and Italians Rxs For Super Longevity
in the search bar, download it and have it on hand for those times when 60 or 70
yrs. of life just aren't enough.

Good Luck!
