The Greek Rx For A Better Memory!

                           The Greek Cocktail!

We can learn a lot of things from the Greeks in regards to our health.
And if you're worried about memory loss, an inability to focus or
even full-blown Alzheimer's, drink an alcoholic beverage inspired by the Greeks.
A cocktail to help improve memory?

Yes, a glass of wine, a shot of whiskey or a beer a day boosts memory
and attention span. Moderate drinking helps veins stay healthy and

flexible, ensuring the brain gets a steady supply of nutrients.
And compounds in wine, help prevent brain plaque linked to
Alzheimer's.

And now to the Greek Rx to help keep your brain in tip-top shape.

It comes from the Greek Islands and it's called The Metaxa Sunshine.
It's a rose-petal infused brandy made from grapes harvested by the Aegean
sea--with pomegranate juice.

The Recipe for Metaxa Sunshine...
3 to 5 ice cubes
3 Tbs. + 1 tsp. Metaxa
1/4 cup of pomegrante juice
Orange peel strips, (optional)
Place a few Ice cubes into an 6 to 8 oz. glass
Add the metaxa and pour on the pomegranate juice.
Stir to mix and garnish with a strip (or two) of orange peel.
Enough for 1 serving.
That's it- a refreshing drink all the way from Greece.
And if yo can't find Metaxa, use brandy or a red wine.

England's Rx To Boost Winter Heart Health!

                                  A Cup of Tea, Please!

Can you guess what season creates the most heart attacks?
If you said the Summer season, you're wrong. It's the Winter season.
And researchers say it happens for a number of reasons, like...

* Colder air- which constrict airways and arteries
* Lack of exercise- many feel that it's too cold to head outdoors

and just give up their exercise routines.
* Non-Stop Buffets- As in Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's eve,

superbowl parties, and Valentine's day- champagne, chocolate, a good sirloin, etc.
* Lack of Sunlight- That's right, shorter days and too little sunlight play a part in
your well-being.  The Sun gets a bad rap, but it can actually boost immunity
levels and keep you fit, trim and heart healthy.

* Snow Shoveling- Sitting indoors for days and weeks at a time and then coming out
to shovel is equivalent to running a marathon in some cases.
Hey, it's not called The "Widow Maker" for nothing,
And now that you know about some of the causes for that Winter heart attack,
it's time to learn how one country may help you prevent them.

The country: England!

Hey, no jokes about fish and chips (fries) or bubble and squeak, or -heavy
meals or endless mugs of beer.
This tip is all about that beverage that has kept most Brits hale and hearty
for centuries, the beverage: Tea, and not your run-of-the mill black tea.

No- the tea that'll keep your heart in tip-top shape, is Earl Grey Tea!
It protects your heart in 2 ways, the 2 ways...

* It cuts the risk of clogged arteries, thanks to the antioxidants in the tea.
* And it contains a key flavoring called Bergamot, acts like a Dr. prescribed
statin to reduce bad cholesterol and increase the good kind of cholesterol.

So, if you're concerned about your heart health in the Winter or any other

season, make sure to have the beverage that's been a staple of the
English diet for centuries, Earl Grey tea.
Look for Earl Grey tea at supermarkets or health-food stores, or go online
to a reputable tea shoppe and buy some loose tea and steep it for 5 mins.

Avoid oversteeping or it'll be bitter.
And serve some with lemon or lime juice and not milk as it has a citrusy flavor
already. Also helpful...skip the scones, danish, canolis, doughnuts and other
pastries with your cup of tea, this too, also helps you avoid  Winter heart attacks.

Good Luck!

The World's Best Rxs For Valentine's Day Leftovers!

                           Use Those Leftovers!

Although we're not sure how Valentine's day is celebrated in say--France, Italy,

Spain or Greece, we decided to go ahead and give you our thoughts on
how to use up those leftovers.
You know, the roses, the champagne and the chocolate.
First up, the champagne...
a) Drink it up to keep your heart and mind in tip-top shape.
The grapes used to make each bottle help keep plaque from
sticking to delicate arteries in and around the heart and brain.
b) Thicker Hair-

Don't give in to the latest and (more expensive) hair care product,
just use some lukewarm champagne as a conditioner.
It'll leave hair looking thick and luxurious.
Now on to the chocolate....

Chocolate like grapes can keep both your mind and heart in tip-top shape
as well. Give credit to the hundreds of compounds found in dark choc.
And there's more...
Eat some dark chocolate or drink a cup of unsweetened cocoa each day
and you'll...
* slash stroke risk by 20%.
eat a few grapes as well and lower it by 45%.
* stave off middle-age spread
* Extend your life by another 3 to 5 yrs.

 * Fend off blue moods.
Don't add choc. to white flour and sugar to make a decadent
dessert. Not only will blue and dark moods increase, you'll also
have middle-age spread to contend with.
And lastly, the flowers, aka Roses.
Throw some rose petals in your bath water for youthful skin
or place some in a large bowl along with some avocado and a tsp. of honey.

Blend together, lie back and apply to your face and neck.
Leave on for 15 to 20 mins. and then rinse off with water.
There you have it, some great uses for leftovers that'll not only
improve your health, but your looks as well.

Good Luck!

France's Food Rxs For A Successful Valentine's Day!

                                      Eat Like The French!

With Valentine's day only a week away, it's time to prepare yourself nutritionally.
Prepare nutritionally?
Yes,  it's no secret that the French people and France are synonymous with romance.
And some of the foods they eat on a regular basis helps boosts their feelings
of tenderness and passion, and that's why you should start eating them as well.
So look below, and learn what foods keep the French primed and ready for
red-hot romance.
a) Cheese-
The benefits of cheese are endless, it helps you fall asleep and
stay asleep, it keeps skin youthful and in regards to romance--
it'll help intensify attraction for one another.
How? It lowers anxiety and tension. Give credit to the minerals, calcium
and magnesium and vitamin D, which raises happiness levels.
And lastly, cheese can help increase dopamine, a chemical in the brain that helps
boost the feelings you have for each other.
b) Oysters-
Although people still think eating oysters doesn't do much to enhance
sex lives, don't tell that to the French. Oysters are loaded with zinc,
a vital mineral necessary for testosterone production, which contributes
to libido in both men and women. Plus, oysters have amino acids that
have aphrodisiac-like effects.
Not sure where to buy oysters or how to prepare them?
Go to Google.com and type how to buy or how to prepare oysters
in the search bar.
c) The Beverage of Love-
If you think it's coffee, you're in the wrong country.
Of course it's wine. And having a glass a day can help slow down aging,
help you feel younger, make maintaining weight a whole lot easier
and most importantly, it lowers inhibitions and for some- it raises
libido. Wine as well as champagne (another Valentine's day favorite)
boosts blood flow to the erogenous zones.
d) Dark Chocolate-
Again, not surprising, eating or drinking dark choc. or cocoa
improves both libido and sexual function. Like wine,
dark choc. is able to keep plaque from sticking to arteries
and improving blood flow. (everywhere)
There you have it, 4 great tips to make this and future Valentine's
day a major success.
And one more tip: If you want more great tips on the how and why
the French are so successful, calmer, happier, and sexier go to

Favorite Comfort Food Rx From Around The World!

                      Eat More Pizza!

Your idea of comfort food may be different than say- someone in
Australia or France, or Russia.

Here in the U.S. we love comfort foods like Mac and Cheese,
meatloaf, baked goods (cookies) and pizza.

And although pizza may be considered more of a snack food,
believe me, it provides us with a lot of comfort.
And if you think that people in other countries may not have or even like
the same comfort (or snack) foods, you're wrong.
In fact, people in Australia, France, Germany and Russia do eat pizza,
but their may be a difference... What is it?  their choice of toppings.

That's right, pizza is served in all parts of the World, and if you should have the pleasure

of visiting one of these countries, look for these toppings...
a) Australia-
You may find their choice of toppings disgusting or rather daring.
What are they? Kangaroo, Emu and shrimp.
And then there are the "normal" toppings...barbecue sauce and pineapple.
b) Brazil-
All you veggie lovers, load up your pizza with green peas.

Yes, Brazilians love peas on their pies.
c) France-
No jokes about wine, but in some parts of France, you can find eggs on
your pizza. The eggs are cracked open and placed on top or cooked
on a stove and then placed on a finished pizza.
d) Germany-
You're wrong if you're thinking hearty meats- Bratwurst or strips of sirloin.
Germans keep it healthy with Tuna.
e) The Netherlands-
The Dutch really take after Americans in that they love meat and cheese on their

pies. In fact, their pizza is called "Double Dutch" double servings of meat and cheese
on one pizza.
f) Russia-
Okay, go ahead and say it, it's probably the least healthiest pie.
And you'd be wrong in that assertion, in fact, it's the healthiest.

Russians love fish, and not just one type of fish, but a number of
fish on their pies. Fish like salmon, tuna, mackerel herring, sardines
and trout. And all of that fish helps prevent the Winter blues, keeps skin taut and smooth, and moisturizes your skin and hair.

That's it- and if you want more info on how a quality made pizza can
improve your health, head on over to Amazon.com/the kindle store
and download a copy of , see title to the right.
Plus, learn how cheese, sauce, meats, vegetables and a whole grain crust can really turbo- charge your health. You'll also learn how
the Sicilian topping - Capers, can really improve your
health as well. Don't delay order today.

Good Luck!
