The Rain Forest's Rx To Prevent Diabetes!

                                       Ward Off Diabetes!

You may know about the Rainforest of Brazil, but there are also rainforests
in Peru, Ecuador, Panama and Tasmania.

Today, we'll focus on the Rainforest of the Yucatan Penisula.
The rainforest here- like others offer a host of healing plants that
not only help you look better, but feel better as well.
And the healing plant we're talking about is Cerasee.
It's also known as bitter melon and it might be one of the best
weapons
to stop a deadly disease in its tracks.
The disease: Diabetes!

Cerasee has been used for decades to lower blood sugar levels,  and
research shows that it improves glucose tolerance and lowers hypoglycemia
50% within an 8 hour span.
Give credit to the natural compounds in the plant that act like insulin and
activates a protein that regulates blood sugar. And more good news:
It may even be more effective than a Dr's prescribed drugs and doesn't come
with a host of side effects.
So, if you're from a family with a history of diabetes or you just want to make
sure you never get it, look to the rainforest of the Yucatan for your preventive
medicine.
Look for Cerasee in tea form or look for in capsule form (Bitter melon capsules)
and you should be able to find it at Latin markets or health-food stores.
And with any type of pill, vitamin or supplement, it's best to talk to your
healthcare professional before trying it.

Good Luck!

England's Rx For Better Health!

A Spot Of Tea For Better Health!

Let's face it- the English are known as tea drinkers.
And there are a lot of tea drinkers in some Asian countries,
but when it comes to black tea, the English rule.
And drinking 2 to 3 cups of good stuff can help you with
health-related issues, what are they?
Heart disease and bone loss.

That's right- New research says that 3 cups of black tea a day
cuts your risk of having a heart attack by 15%. Compounds
formed during the fermentation that turn green tea into black,
are called theaflavins, and they can lower "bad" cholesterol and
raise good cholesterol. Theaflavins also reduce pressure on artery walls
and that helps lower blood pressure.

And now for bone loss. Concerned about losing bone density as you get older?
Well, the 3 cups of black tea that stave off heart disease, can also keep the
bones stronger, especially the bones around the hips.

So, if you're a tea drinker- like our friends from across the pond,
continue doing it. Just make sure to have the tea with a little honey
and lemon, and skip the scones, danish, canolis and other pastries.
The combination of white flour and sugar can really take a toll on your

heart and bones.

And for the women out there, look for a gift from the writers of this

Sicily's Food Rx For Better Health!

                                      Live Long Like A Sicilian!

The people of Sicily are some of the longest-lived in the World.
The number of people reaching their 100th birthdays grows
each day. Researchers say it's a number of things that help them

reach 100, things like...walking, strong family ties, religion, the unrushed pace
of eating meals, the foods- olive oil, tomaloes and capers.

Capers? Yes, capers.
The slightly salty pickled flowers are great for flavoring foods,

but they also boost health. How?
By helping you become more energetic. Capers contain
quercetin- a phytonutrient that helps your body burn

oxygen faster.

Quercetin is also an anti-inflammatory and helps reduce your risk of
dementia and heart disease.
And there's more- they also nuetralize any harmful toxins during digestion.
Add them to meats, pizza, salads and pasta sauces.
One tip- add them near the end of cooking your sauce (or gravy)
or they'll make the sauce bitter.

And if you want to look younger and thinner but can't wait for the
results of a diet, why not use makeup, a hairbrush or a curling iron?
Don't believe it- look for a new E-document written by some of the members
who contribute to this blog and RedCarpetRxs.

The World's Healthiest Food!

                                 Eat More...and Live Longer!

Hey ladies and gentlemen, the USDA (the United States Department of Agriculture)
just named the healthiest food in the
World. Can you guess what it is?
Is it garlic? Blueberries? Watercress? Garlic? How about-
fish, or broccoli, or plain yogurt? Is it Wine?
Well, the answer is no, no and no.

What is it? It's a bean, no not black, navy, lima, garbanzo
or lentil.

The true answer is the Red Bean.
The USDA says not just the healthiest bean, but food,
and that makes sense considering that countries like
Sardinia, Tuscany, Peru, The Dominican Republic and Ikaria
Greece have some of the longest lived people in the World
and they all share a common habit.
The habit: They make beans the main part of their meals.
Unlike a lot of wealthier countries that threw out
the traditions and diets of their ancestors and adopted a meat diet,
poorer countries still make of most of their meals with the lowly bean.

And why was it named the "healthiest" food?
It's loaded with fiber and protein, they have plenty of B vitamins
and energizing compounds.

And even more great news: The people that eat the most beans also
enjoy the slimmest waistlines and live an average of 8 to 12 yrs longer
than their meat-eating counterparts.
So, if you're ever asked to name to the healthiest food in the World,
remember this post and give the answer-the Red bean.

And if you want tips on how to stave off aging ans live long
and healthy like the Aussies, The Peruvians, The Italians, The
Greeks, The Irish, The Spaniards, The Hunzas, The Okinawans, The Fijians,

The Jamaicans, and many more, just go to Amazon.com--
the kindle store and download a copy of The Asian, French,
Greek and Italian Rxs For "Super" Longevity.

It was written by me along with others interested in
eliminating the "big pharmacies" all over the World.

Thanks!
