Poland's Low-Cost Rx For Weight Loss!

                                  Eat Green For Weight Loss!

During the past 4 yrs. we've done a few posts on the food that's

as popular in Poland and South Korea (Kimchi) as lettuce is in the U.S.
The food: Cabbage.

Yes, the food that can be purchased for less than $2 can pay bigger
dividends to you in regards to your health.
What kinds of dividends?

Lower odds of getting certain cancers, especially breast.
Longevity-Actress Cloris Leachman, is now 90 yrs. old and she
says changing her diet to a  raw food diet (in her late 30's) plays a big part in her living this
long.
And one of her favorite dishes: Coleslaw. Made with cabbage, sea salt, black pepper,

raw sugar, olive oil, apple cider vinegar and shredded carrots.
A top health researcher says if longevity is a goal you want to achieve, then you must add
more cabbage to your diet.

And lastly, if extra weight is something you're struggling with, try adding more

cabbage to your diet.
Why cabbage?
It's a weight-loss superfood and it (cabbage) has powerful antioxidants

(glucosinolates and chlorophyll) that ward off fat storage and improve the
ability of muscles to burn fat for energy.

That's it- and if you need some help finding ways to prepare cabbage (other than boiling

it for 20 mins.) go to Google.com and type cabbage dishes or ways to prepare
cabbage in the search bar. You can also steam a few of the outer leaves and use
them as a wrap for your burger or chicken salad.
And don't forget to add some red cabbage to your daily menus as well,

it helps protect your brain and that means lower rates of memory loss,
dementia and even Alzheimer's.

Good Luck!

Poland's Rx For A Healthier Brain!

When you think of a country, sometimes a certain food comes to mind.

France, you think of cheese and wine, Sardinia, you think Fava beans,
Greece- you think coffee, nuts and lamb, the Middle East, you think
mint, chick peas and saffron.
And then there's Poland.  What food do you think of  when you think of Poland?
Give up? It's cabbage.
Yes, cabbage.

The Polish use it for soups, stews, coleslaw and they even stuff it.
Cabbage as you know, has many benefits, especially when it comes to

fighting cancer. And researchers say that the many cabbage dishes served in
Poland, may be the reason the women have much lower breast cancer rates.
Well,  if breast cancer protection is something that interests you, then eat
more cabbage, but new research says that it may also do wonders for your
brain.

That's right- Red cabbage has the ability to keep your brain free of plaque,
the type of plaque that leads to Alzheimer's.
The red, purplish color fights the free radicals that wreak havoc on your
brain and other organs.
So, if you're concerned about healthier breasts or a healthier brain,
add more red cabbage to your diet.
And for those who aren't fans of cabbage, try the food that's popular in the
Andes, the food: Quinoa.
It too, can keep you from ever developing Alzheimer's.

And lastly, for those who are fans of Pumpkin, look for our new E-document
