Use Up That Extra Olive Oil!
There's no doubt that eating (and wearing some) olive oil will greatly
improve your health and well-being, and if you need proof of this,
just head to the Mediterranean.
In fact, there's now a diet based on the foods and beverages that many
of the people in these regions use and it's called "The Mediterranean
Diet"
And if you've been a consumer of olive oil, good for you, but are you using
olive oil for more than just a topping on your salad or a spread on bread, (bruschetta)?
Not sure what this means?
Well, olive oil can be used for more than eating, that's right, use the golden
elixir to...
a) Clean Furniture-
Concerned about the fumes and toxins you take in from that store-bought
furniture polish? Put those fears to rest and use olive oil and some lemon juice.
(or white vinegar). Mix well, place in a small bottle, put the lid on, shake
and spritz on the wood furniture you want to sparkle.
b) Clean Your Jewelry-
Have a pair of pearls that look drab and dull? Revive them with olive oil.
Place some oil on a clean cloth (or paper towel) and clean each pearl, (one-by-one)
Make sure to apply light pressure.
c) Help For Your Plants-
Do you have plants that have big leaves? Well, those leaves can get dusty
just like tabletops and computer screens, and if that's the case...use olive oil
to help them look shiny and vibrant.
d) Help For Fido or Fifi-
Do you have a dog that sheds? Feed him or her olive oil. If it's good enough for
you, it's good enough for them. The essential fatty acids in olive oil help to
eliminate the shedding. Do the olive oil treatment once or twice a week
and watch how your dog reacts. For some dogs, it may be too much for their
sensitive stomachs. Add a tsp. to their kibbles and bits or Blue Buffalo Wilderness.
That's it- and if you want tips on how you can use up that extra olive oil,
head to Amazon.com/the kindle store and type...see title to the right
in the search bar.
In addition to olive oil, learn how to use toothpaste, dental floss,
apple cider vinegar, salt, sugar and coca cola in a number of different ways.
Good Luck!
