World's Best Rxs To Sidestep Spring Allergies!

                       Avoid Spring Allergies!

As the end of March finishes up,  April will soon be here.
And with April comes more rain, warmer temperatures,
Easter and allergies.
Allergies?
Yes, pollen from trees, the warmer weather and dust mites
(from all of that Spring cleaning) can wreak havoc on your
eyes, nasal passages, and breathing.

And to avoid these maladies, do some of the things your
friends in other countries are doing. Things like...

a) Drinking Tea-
As in green tea. Yes, the Koreans and Japanese are big green tea

drinkers and because of their love for the green beverage,
they sneeze less than people who aren't drinking it.
Green tea contains compounds in it that block the production of
chemicals that start the allergic response to Allergens, dust, dirt ,

etc. And if you want to sneeze less, drink 2 to 3 cups of green tea daily.
Another tip: Make sure to have the tea like the Koreans,

and that's without loads of sugar, by the Tbsps. or from a
danish or pastry. Sugar, (not salt) is the no. 1 foe of a strong immune system.
b) Walk More-
People that still get around by foot like the people of Tuscany, the Hunzas
who live atop the Himalayans, some French who live in the countrysides
prevent one big problem, what type of problem?

They maintain an ideal weight, and keeping one's weight in check
also keep allergies in check, how?
Because the more stomach fat you have, the more congestion you have,

and the more airway-irritating inflammation you have.
So, walk, cycle or dance to lose some of that weight, and also look to
your diet. You may be eating things that aren't contributing to a lean
and sexy physique.
c) Take Up Yoga-
If you think Hollywood starlets are the only ones doing it, you're wrong.
It's been a way of life for some Indians for centuries.
Yoga  not only helps you look toned and fit, it can also help you breathe
better. And better breathing is something you'll need in the allergy-ridden
months of April and May. And if you want to start taking yoga, but aren't
sure where to begin, head online to Youtube.com and type Beginner's
yoga in the search box.
d) Eat Fish-
Italians, Greeks and some Japanese eat a lot of fish during the year and doing this
helps them boost their immune systems. And  having strong immune levels

means you're system is less likely to overreact to pollen and other invaders
come April and May.
So, there you have four tips on how to combat the allergies that are sure to
come in the next few wks. and if you want more tips like these, head on over

Eat This And Lower Cancer Rates!

The news from Hollywood this past week was that actress and director

Angelina Jolie had her ovaries removed.
And this is a year after having her breasts removed.

If you're a woman who doesn't have a family history of
breast or ovarian cancer and want to keep it that way,

eat the food that's popular in Italy, Spain, Greece and Denmark,
the food: Olive oil.
More specifically--Extra-virgin olive oil.

Powerful compounds in this type of oil help shut down the
growth of abnormal cells, (including breast and ovarian) before

they can turn cancerous.
And if do add more of this oil to your daily menus, make

sure to limit or eliminate fattening foods, dairy, red meats,
white carbs, sweets, high fructose foods and sugary beverages.

And lastly, if you want to know about some other foods that'll
keep you cancer-free, head online to Amazon.com/the kindle store
and type The Superfoods That'll Help You Prevent Female Cancers,

in the search box.
Once you download it, you can take the material with you to the
supermarket and use it as a guide, a preventative guide.

Good Luck!

World's Best Rxs For Avoiding Illnesses!

                                   Just Say No To...Ebola!

With all of the talk about Ebola, it's a wonder any of us are able to
continue to live our lives.
If you're not living in Africa, especially west Africa, then you shouldn't
worry about Ebola.
You also shouldn't worry about it if you're not in direct contact with someone
from that part of Africa.

What should you worry about?
Influenza, also known as the Flu. The flu kills about 30, 000 Americans
each yr.
You should also worry about the Measles, Tuberculosis, food-borne virsuses,
air-borne viruses and antibiotic-resistance infections.
And now that we given you something to really worry about, what can you
do to minimize your odds of ever getting one of these "killer" viruses?

You can look to your friends in other countries for help.

Friends in other countries?
Yes, people in France, Italy, China, Japan, South Korea, England
and Austria have had to deal with all kinds of bacterial invaders, viruses
and germs for centuries and modern medicine wasn't available,
so they relied on nature to get them through.
And if you want to bolster your immune system, do like your
friends, ( and brothers and sisters) from....
a) South Korea-
There's a post or two on this very site and it's all about Kimchi.
The South Korean's spicy version of sauerkraut can help
you develop an immune system that'll keep out a host of viruses.
And if you don't believe it, think back to the "Bird Flu"
Well, the people who ate the most Kimchi, were able to avoid it.
b) Australia-
When it comes to good health, The Aussies don't come up very often,
and that's simply not true, thanks to Tea tree oil and plenty of sunshine,
the Aussies have immune systems that are on par with the Asians, the Italians and
the Germans. Look for Tea tree oil at health-food store and make sure
to ask someone well-versed in alternative medicine how to take it.
c) Italy-
No surprise here, it's Garlic. Called "nature's true antibiotic"
garlic contains all types of compounds that'll help you stave off
the most persistent types of germs.
Add some to salad, baked dishes, meat and fish dishes and stir-fries.
Not a fan of garlic?
Look for it in capsule form.
d) Bali-
Not a lot is known about the people of Indonesia, but what is known is that
they (the people) also share something in common with people from Caribbean and
South Pacific countries to keep themselves virus and flu-free.
Their secret: Coconut oil. Used in Bali, Fiji, Jamaica and the Bahamas,
And if you're concerned about respiratory problems and viruses hampering
your Winter, then you must start using coconut oil.
Look for extra-virgin coconut oil at supermarkets or health-food stores
and use it instead of margarine and vegetable oil.
There you have it- 4 tips that'll help you develop an immunity system worthy

of an impenetrable fortress.
And if you want more tips on how to use Nature's medicine,
(the Sun, garlic, sleep, etc) to fend off all types of germs and viruses,

head online to Amazon.com/the kindle store and download a copy of...see title to the right.

Ireland's Rx For Leftover Adult Beverages!

Drink Your Way To Better Health!

If you weren't able to celebrate St. Paddy's in Ireland, don't despair,
most of us weren't that fortunate either.

And if you want to celebrate a few thousand miles away, do with
a pint of Guinness stout.

Beer? Isn't that an insulting stereotype?
No, a pint (and only a pint) can benefit your health and looks in
a number of ways, like...
a) Thicker Hair-
A comedian once joked- "every time I walk past the men on skid row,
I never see any bald men!" Well, that comedian may be onto something
and that something is...a 10 to 12 oz. serving of Stout has ample amounts
of B vitamins and iron in it, and they're the 2 things every scalp needs.
After shampooing, pour some stout into your locks and work it through
with your fingertips. After a few minutes, wash it out. Do this once or twice
a week and see if it makes a difference.
b) Bone Health-
Concerned about bone loss or braking a hip as you get older?
Build up bone strength with a glass of stout or beer each night.
c) Live Longer-
Similar to the post we submitted last week, the Irish like the Germans
may live a little longer thanks to their beer drinking.
The compounds in beer, (the vitamins, minerals, hops) do everything
from lower your cholesterol to keeping your heart free of plaque,
and these 2 things help you live an extra 2, 4 or even 7 yrs. longer.
d) End Insomnia-
Non-alcoholic beer like O'Douls is winning rave reviews as a natural sleep
aid. And if you've been having trouble getting to and staying asleep,
try some non-alcoholic beer an hour before bed.

That's it- some helpful tips on how to use that leftover beer from
St. Patrick's day. And also remember- stop at one glass or 1 bottle of
beer, any more than that and you undo all of the healthy benefits,
which will make things worse.

Good Luck!

The German Rx For A Longer Life!

                        Live Long Secret From Germany!

Germany like England gets a bad rap when it comes to health and longevity,
and why is that?
People think the fat-laden meals and gallons of beer shorten lives.
Well, it's not true, in fact, people in Germany (and England) do a number
of things that can actually extend your life.

And one of those things is take a hot bath.

A hot bath?
Yes, in Bavaria (the largest state in Germany) is notorious for hot soaks,
( the same type of therapy that's also popular in Finland) and if you want to stave off
heart disease and reduce inflammation throughout your body, you too, better follow
the lead of your German and Finnish brothers and sisters.
More good news...people who take a Sauna twice a week or a hot bath- 5 times
a week, reduce their risk not only of heart disease, but all diseases by a whopping 50%.
Hot temperatures are deadly to viruses that are trying to gain access inside your body.
Bavaria, home to Oktoberfest, is also known for its hot springs and these hot springs
may be the one of the secrets for such long and healthy German lives.

So, are you willing to take a hot bath or sit in a Sauna a few times a week?
If so, good for you and if you're not able to make it to Bavaria or Finland,

just fill your tub with Epsom salt and hot water, get in and relax for 15 to 20 minutes.
And one more tip: Make sure you talk it over with your doctor first, too much heat
can be detrimental to those who are on certain medications, have problems with balance
and already have heart conditions.

Good Luck!
