France's Rx For Raising Successful Kids!

Raise Your Kids Like The French!

For decades parents have spent obscene amounts of money looking for
the best ways to help their kids become kinder, gentler and more successful.
And unfortunately, a lot of that money was wasted.

That's right, if you're a parent in the U.S. you know that the real

parents may be P.P.
What is that? Peer Pressure.

But that's not the case in France, Spain. Italy or Greece.
The real parenting champ in these countries may be the dining

room table.
Also known as family meals.

Eating together most nights of the week may be the best and low-cost
way to help your kids become respected and productive members of society.
So says top researchers and the reason- food is considered more than something
you chew, swallow and then get up and run from the table.

Not so in a lot of European countries, sitting around sharing info, dreams,
and fears with 2 or more generations of family and friends-results in lower depression
rates, lower odds of having an eating disorder, fewer run-ins with the law,
less truancy (at school) and a lower chance of getting pregnant (girls).
And for adults, the family meals mean better cholesterol  and blood pressure
readings and weight management.

It seems taking your time to really eat and chew helps keep you physically fit as well.

So, if you thought there was some type of guarded secret as the best way to
help kids succeed, there isn't, the answer is right there in your
kitchen or dining room.

And one last thing, if you really want more secrets as to how the French do so much better at this thing called life, you can get some of the answers online.
Online at Amazon.com/the kindle store, see title to the right...
Once you download your own copy-- find out how the French suffer less depression and stress, have lower rates of heart disease and cancer, are able to drink wine and eat cheese most days of the week, have better vision, have fewer colds and look 5 to 10 yrs. younger than their American counterparts.

without feeling guilty.
c) Take A Break-
As in take a vacation. Again men and women may feel guilty taking off of work for more than a wk. But not so in France.

Natural Remedies For World Travelers!

                     Keep Yourself Safe While Flying!

You don't have to be reminded that flying in this day and age
can be dangerous. And to keep you and your loved ones safe,
do the following...

a) Clean Your Hands-

It's something moms and grandmas have nagged you
about for yrs. Well now, it can really keep you from ending
up in the emergency room or hospital. To avoid becoming
a victim, wash your hands for 15 to 20 secs. with warm, soapy
water and finish  up the process rubbing your hands with
an alcohol-based hand gel. Try Purell or Avant.
b) The Nose Knows-
Due to the high altitudes, the air in a plane can become very dry.
And a dry nose increases your odds of getting an infection.

To avoid this- Use an over-the-counter saline solution.
Look for the brands Ocean or Ayr at drugstores.
c) Boost Your Defenses-
How? By taking a product like Airborne, available
at drugstores. Or eating the herbs and spices that boost
immunity. Spices and herbs like, thyme, oregano,
garlic, basil, allspice and a few others.
And lastly, sleep more. You may pride yourself on
3 to 5 hrs. of sleep, but skimping on sleep
only makes it easier to get more infections.
Aim for 6 hrs. or more.

That's it- and if you want more tips on how to boost immunity,
head to Amazon.com/the kindle store and download a copy of

The World's Best Immunity Boosters.

South Korea?

Food Combo Secrets From Around The World!

                                      Combine Foods To Boost Health!

Are you familiar with the term Superfood?
It's a nutrient-rich food that bolsters one's health and well-being.
And if you're a regular at this blog, then you know we tell you
about some superfoods that come from faraway places.
Well, you may want to get on board on the next big trend concerning
superfoods. What is it?

Combining superfoods!

Cutting edge research says that combining certain foods greatly
boost their health benefits--packing a nutritious punch that's several
times greater than when eaten alone.
And if you want to boost your health, then look below for some of the
food combos that'll protect you against diseases like diabetes,
high blood pressure, Alzheimer's, etc.
a) France-
If you're thinking wine, you're right, but if you're a long distance traveler,
then you should have some dark chocolate with your wine.

Although it may not seem like a combo, you'd want any part of, think
of the alternative... a blood clot while traveling on a 8 hour flight,
or sitting in a car for 8 hours straight. Wine and dark choc. improve circulation

throughout the body.
What also works--a bowl of grapes and sliced apples.
Wine with a few slices of kiwi, starting a week or two before your trip.
b) Russia-
If you're guessing an alcoholic beverage, you're right.
But it's not only alcohol, it's also beet juice.
Russians of course have the reputation of being hard
drinkers, but you can actually improve your health with a shot

or two of vodka a day. A small of amount of alcohol lowers blood
pressure, builds strong bones, helps you maintain weight,

and even boosts libido. But overdo it, and you undo all of the benefits.
As for beet juice- it can improve circulation throughout the body,
help the heart beat more efficiently, prevent memory loss
and even boost stamina, thanks to the improved blood flow.
A fun fact, a Russian woman who left Russia  for the U.S. was told
(after living in the U.S. for 10 yrs,) that her blood pressure was a little

high, her secret for bringing it down? Prescribed meds, no- a shot of
vodka with a cut up clove of garlic.
And not only did this combo bring her pressure down, she was still
going to work at age 75.
c) Italy-

Where do you start? The coffee, the garlic or the olive oil?
Those things can help, but in some parts of Italy they eat a
a dessert that helps the people stay diabetes-free.
What is it? A dessert made with berries (straw, black or blueberries)
some balsamic vinegar and black pepper.

This wild combination keeps blood sugar levels steady, helping
you avoid the expensive meds and finger pricks that come
with being a diabetic. You may want to add a little dark honey
or agave nectar to this dish, to counter the bitterness.
d) Denmark-
Like Italy, you have a number of foods to boost health,
fatty fish, Rye bread and olive oil. But it's actually similar
to Italy's combination in that it too, lowers your odds
of becoming a diabetic, the food combo: a top quality
yogurt and some wild berries. In a lot of countries, a small

amount of nuts, some fruit, a piece of cheese or some yogurt
with some berries and honey is all the dessert these people need.
e) Australia-
Want to turbocharge your sex drive? Eat like an Aussie and get
your wish. What food combo is it? Meat and Seafood. Aka surf and turf.

Aussies reportedly make love 3 to 5 times a week and some say top
quality meat and seafood may be the reason.
Both contain ample amounts of zinc, a mineral needed for a strong
and long-lasting sex life. And with the poor quality of meats
and the non-meat eaters in a lot of countries, they're lagging

behind their Aussie brothers and sisters.
So, if you've noticed a decline in your bedroom activities,
perhaps investing in grass-fed beef and wild caught seafood will turn things around. Or do like a Frenchman (or woman) and consume more wine.

Hey, that's it for now, but if you found this post interesting and
want to learn how more great food combos that can fight Fall allergies, prevent certain cancers, lower cholesterol levels, end insomnia, boost metabolism and libido and keep your thyroid in tiptop shape, head on over to Amazon.com/the kindle store, and download your own copy of, see title to the right.
Pay a few dollars now, or spend thousands later...at the hospital
or pharmacy.

Good Luck!
