Eat This To Avoid Hangovers!
A number of people all over the World follow a vegetarian diet.
There's the Hunza tribe who live atop the Himalayan mountains
and in the U.S. --the Latter Day Saints of Loma Linda California,
also known as Mormons.
Nothing unusual here, again a lot of people follow this type of
diet.
Yes, that's true, but these 2 groups of people also live well into
their 80's and 90's, and they do so without the heart disease,
high blood pressure, Alzheimer's, certain cancers and diabetes
that affect so many.
And there's one vegetable that these two groups may or not eat and it can
help you avoid getting sick on the first day of the New Year.
Give up? We're talking about hangovers on the first.
There are a number of things one can do to get over a hangover,
but what about avoiding them in the first place.
Well, if you can eat some steamed asparagus (lightly buttered)
an hour before indulging, then you may avoid the headaches, the
kicked in the stomach feeling and the nausea that's so commonly
associated with a night of overindulging.
Why asparagus?
It has the right combination of vitamins, minerals and amino acids that
helps whisk alcohol out of your system, before it can do serious damage to
your insides.
There you have it, our last post for the yr. 2014.
And we hope to bring you more great info from here and abroad to
keep you hale and hearty in the new year.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Good Luck!
