California's Rx For Revelers!

                     Eat This To Avoid Hangovers!

A number of people all over the World follow a vegetarian diet.
There's the Hunza tribe who live atop the Himalayan mountains
and in the U.S. --the Latter Day Saints of Loma Linda California,
also known as Mormons.

Nothing unusual here, again a lot of people follow this type of
diet.

Yes, that's true, but these 2 groups of people also live well into

their 80's and 90's, and they do so without the heart disease,
high blood pressure, Alzheimer's, certain cancers and diabetes
that affect so many.

And there's one vegetable that these two groups may or not eat and it can
help you avoid getting sick on the first day of the New Year.
Give up? We're talking about hangovers on the first.
There are a number of things one can do to get over a hangover,
but what about avoiding them in the first place.
Well, if you can eat some steamed asparagus (lightly buttered)

an hour before indulging, then you may avoid the headaches, the
kicked in the stomach feeling and the nausea that's so commonly
associated with a night of  overindulging.

Why asparagus?
It has the right combination of vitamins, minerals and amino acids that
helps whisk alcohol out of your system, before it can do serious damage to

your insides.
There you have it, our last post for the yr. 2014.
And we hope to bring you more great info from here and abroad to
keep you hale and hearty in the new year.
                                  HAPPY NEW YEAR!

France's New Year Rx For A Sharper Brain!

Ring In The New Year With Champagne!

If you're a regular reader of this blog, then you may have read a post
or two on the benefits of a drink a day. An alcoholic drink a day.

And if you plan on ringing in the New Year, do it with a drink
that's closely related to the wealthy and the French.

The drink: Champagne.

Made from grapes that are grown in the Champagne region
of France, new studies say a few glasses of champagne a week
can improve both long-term and short-term memory, abstract reasoning,
concentration and overall smarts.

How is this possible?
Champagne is loaded with brain-protecting antioxidants and polyphenols--
and the fizzy bubbles, they speed the flow of neuron-nourishing blood to the brain.

So, if you were reluctant to spend money on champagne, perhaps
a sharper brain may be all the incentive you need.

China's Rx For Living Till 100!

                            Live Long Like The Chinese!
There's a remote, mountainous region of China, where it's not unusual to

see 100 yr. old men and women walking or doing outdoor chores.
This part of China is called Bama county, and the people who live here
are more likely to reach 100, even more so than people from Greece,
or Denmark, or Bulgaria or Osaka Japan.

And if you want one of their secrets for super longevity, continue reading...

The one thing that helps Asians in Bama county live till 100 is...
Hemp Seeds!

Hold on, before you get the wrong idea, these seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids
and they're used to make a broth, a broth called Houmayou, also known as longevity
soup. And this soup is proven to boost mood, improve focus, and attention span,
and reduce inflammation.
The type of inflammation that causes brain and heart aging.
And in addition to omega-3 fatty acids, the seeds also contain vitamin E,
protein and all nine amino acids.

So, if you want to add an extra 5, 10 or even 20 yrs. to your life,
do like the people of Southwestern China and add hemp seeds to your

daily menus.
Find the seeds at health-food stores or online at Amazon.com or
SwansonVitamins.com and add them to smoothies, salads,
oatmeal or veggie stir-fries.

And one last tip--
If you want more longevity secrets from the people of Bama county,
head to Amazon.com/the kindle store and type The Asian, French, Greek
and Italian Rxs For Super Longevity in the search bar.
And once you download it, you'll also learn how the people treat and
prevent diabetes with this plant. How they boost immunity with this mineral.
How they prevent cancer with this oil. And how they avoid disease by
by breathing this.
Don't delay, head to Amazon.com and get started on your own path
toward living till 100.

The Icelandic and Italian Rx For Better Moods!

                            Dairy Foods For Better Moods!
Dairy like wheat is getting a bad rap, but let's not forget, if made with
superior quality and very few additives (or chemicals) all foods can benefit you

in some way.

And that's the point of today's post, Ricotta and Skyr are two dairy foods that
we first think of when asked to name dairy foods related to these 2 countries.
(Italy and Iceland)
And if you're a fan of Ricotta cheese or Skyr, a less sweet type of yogurt,
new research says--both foods can help you sail through the holidays.
Sail how? As in better moods and more calm.

First the Ricotta.
Used in a number of Italian dishes, pasta and baked goods,
this cheese contains the richest sources of whey protein, which helps
your brain make the amino acid tryptophan, the building
block of mood-boosting serotonin. And the more serotonin

in your system, the better your moods.
But wait, there's more, when test subjects ate more ricotta, they
also experienced fewer cravings and reduced appetites.
Researchers think that serotonin also helps cut your cravings and
stops the mindless bingeing, far too many people suffer with.

And now on to the Skyr.
In Iceland- with their 15 or more hours of darkness in the Winter, the people

need something that'll keep them calm and even-tempered and that something is Skyr.
Thanks to the friendly bacteria in this food, it (the bacteria) reduces levels of
the brain chemicals that triggers tension and foul moods resulting in a calmer
and more stress-free you.

So, if the dark and depressing days and nights of this Winter season
are getting to you, remember your brothers and sisters in Italy
and Iceland and eat more Skyr and Ricotta.
Look for Skyr (in the U.S.) under the name Siggi's or try Stoneyfield
or Fage brands of plain yogurt.

And if you need a last minute Christmas gift, remember our past E-Docs.

France's Rx For Better Heart Health!

Eat This For A Better Working Heart!

Fat gets a bad rap, what type of rap? It causes you to get fat, it clogs
up your heart and raises your risk of stroke.
But that's simply not true, and thanks to research done in France,
we now know it's definitely not true.

And the type of fat we're talking about is butter.

You see, the French eat butter on their veggies, their crusty loaves
of bread and in their deserts, and yet, have way fewer cases of
heart attacks, much lower than their American counterparts.
And although there are a number of reasons for the low number of

heart attacks, (longer dinners, chewing food thoroughly, better quality
of food, and wine) researchers say butter has a lot to do with it.

Butter?
Yes, unlike the artery clogging margarine, butter is rich in
lecithin, vitamin K2 and other nutrients that block the buildup
of artery-clogging plaque, lowering your odds of a heart attack
by 25%.

So, if you marveled at France's good health fortunes, marvel
no more, just put away the margarine, the canola and vegetable oil
and eat more butter.
One butter to consider: Ghee butter. Available at Whole Foods
or online at SwansonVitamins.com.
Be prepared to pay, this butter is expensive.

Hey, isn't your health worth it?

And lastly, if you want to learn how French star Catherine Deneuve
is able to look 10 to 12 yrs. younger, head to Amazon.com/the kindle store
and type The French Rxs For Health, Longevity and Everlasting Beauty,
in the search bar.
Hint: It's a food.

World's Best Beverage Rxs For Better Health!

Drink Up and Improve Your Health!

For a lot of people, this time of year means making and eating great food
and drinking great wine, whiskey, champagne and ale.
And if you're the type that can stop at one "adult" beverage a day,
give yourself some applause.
Applause...why?

A drink a day, be it wine, champagne, ale, whisky or even eggnog with
a little rum can improve your health in a number of ways.

Ways like...
* Cold and flu prevention.
Alcohol can improve immunity, making it difficult for germs to enter your system.
And if you are sick, have a hot toddy (popular in Ireland) and cut the duration
of your cold by a few days.
* A better brain-
Alcohol improves blood flow and that blood flows goes everywhere,
to your heart and your brain. And if you're concerned about your memory

fading or Alzheimer's setting in, have a glass of bubbly each day.
And even more good news: A doctor had patients who showed early signs

of dementia, change their eating habits, exercise a little more
and drink a shot of whisky or a glass of wine each day.
The results:  many were able to return to normal.

* Build Stronger Bones-
The jokes surrounding the English and their drinking has been going
on for decades, what may not be a joke, is that a mug of ale (dark)
may prevent bone thinning. And this is especially beneficial to women,
postmenopausal women concerned about breaking their hips.

What type of ale works best?
The type that's the least processed. Look for Sierra Nevada Christmas

Ale. (google it)
* A Longer Life-
Overdo the alcohol and you'll most likely speed up your decline, keep it

to a drink a day and you may live an extra 5 or more yrs. longer.
As mentioned earlier, improved blood flow, stronger immunity and
lower blood pressure all contribute to greater longevity.
So, if you or someone close to you goes overboard with the alcohol,
perhaps showing him or her this post may get them to change their ways.

And one last tip, if you're really a fan of adult beverages and you like
to travel, why not combine the two?
Say what?
That's right, head online to Amazon.com.the kindle store and download
a copy of see title to the right...
Once you download it, you'll find out what people from
other states prefer to drink. And if you can't travel to
the states to get these drinks, there are recipes so you
can make them in the privacy of your own home.

The Asian Rx For Perfect Health!

                        Peels For Better Health!
It seems the word "Superfood" is everywhere.
You know, blueberries, broccoli, garlic, salmon and green tea.
But some say these aren't the real "superfoods" No-
the real "superfoods" are the peels, the rinds, the tops
and the seeds of some of your favorite foods.

That's right, eating orange, lime, grapefruit, tangerine and banana peels
is something that's quite popular in countries like Asia, and one Asian doctor even
goes as far to say that- the increase in certain diseases may be a result of
not eating the peels.

Peels, tops,  rinds and seeds are packed with essential oils and nutrients, vitamins

and minerals that aren't present in the actual fruits or vegetables.
And if you want to live a little longer like some Asians, perhaps
you too, should take up the practice of eating peels.

And to get you started, here are a few peels and the benefits you
can get from each...

If high cholesterol is something that worries you, grate some
orange peel into your salad, smoothie or oatmeal.
b) Tangerine Peel-

Tangerines are popular right about now, and if you want to really
lower your odds of ever getting a number of cancers, add more tangerine
peels to your daily menus.
c) Banana Peels-
No, it's not a misprint, eating some banana peel each day can
boost your health 2 ways,
The 2 benefits:
Prevent depression
Put an end to Insomnia.
That's right, in some part of China, the people boil and then simmer
the peels for 8 to 10 mins. chop them up and add them to a smoothie,
a shake or a bowl of hot cereal.
Important tips:
Go slowly, grate a small amount in the beginning, too much peel may
cause stomach discomfort.

to most of the pesticides.

China;s Forbidden Rx For Boosting Energy!

Boost Energy The Ancient Chinese Way!

The Chinese have given us a number of  tools to fight aging and
live longer and better lives.
And of course they've had thousands of years to use and test a lot of
these tools,  bike riding, stir-frying vegetables,  family ties,

teas, and Tai Chi.
But there's one tool or secret that the people of China were reluctant to
share,
What is it?
Royalty,  the well-to-do and the socially connected ate a special type of rice. |

What type of Rice?
Black Rice!
And this wasn't any type of rice, it was black rice to boost energy levels.

This type of rice was only available to the most important and well-connected members
of certain Chinese societies.

The rice was so tasty, nutritious and rare, it was only given to kings, queens
and the well-to-do.
But not anymore, today it's available to all members of society, young
and old, Jews and Gentiles, rich and poor.
And if you find yourself getting fatigued at 1:00 or 2:00 pm
each day, add some black rice to your daily menus.
Look for black rice at health-food stores or online at LotusFoods.com.

And one last tip:
Make sure to serve the food with foods that'll complement it,
no burgers and black rice or a candy bar and then some black rice.

Doing this will only continue the fatigue, brain fog and listlessness.
Instead...
Stir-fry some vegetables, carrots, spinach, broccoli and Swiss chard
and place it on top of the rice.

That's it--
Good Luck!

Italy's Rx For Buying Olive Oil!

                        Tips For Buying Olive Oil!

When we think of Olive oil, visions of Italians and Italy usually enter into
our minds.
But. let's not forget that a number of people in Denmark, France,
Greece and Spain also use the golden elixir on a daily basis.
And if you're not from Italy, Denmark, or Greece but use it (O.O.)
on a regular basis, make sure to use the this tip.

What is it?
When buying it, (O.O.) make sure to buy the smaller bottles,
especially if you live alone or only have one other person  living with
you?
Why?
According to researchers, Once you open the bottle, the oil's disease -fighting
antioxidants become 40% less effective after 6 months. even when stored
properly in a cool, dark place.
So, those enormous bottles you get at discount stores may not be so
attractive after all.
Or you can continue to buy them, just make sure you use it for more than just
food.
Use them as moisturizers, after a bath or shower.

A quick story, a man feeling the effects of aging at around 45, remembered the
stories about O.O. from the bible and starting massaging the oil
all over his body after his daily shower. Long story short-- the aches and pains
went away and he felt so good, he was still riding his bike, doing
30 to 40 minutes of exercise a day and working a full 8 hours.
All at the age of 65.

And if you need more proof of O.O.'s incredible benefits,
researchers say you can have that burger and fries or a few slices

of pizza and a cronut, but make sure to have some greens and O.O.
with it. Why?
A combination of greens help lower bl. pressure and slow down and block
out some of the offending carbs and fats you may be getting from
pizza and burgers.

That's it- A few more testaments to the incredible golden elixir
known as Olive Oil.
And if you want more great info, head to SupermarketRxs@typepad.com.
and look for more tips on preventing pharmaceuticals and  future hospital

bills.

France's Rx For Raising Successful Kids!

Raise Your Kids Like The French!

For decades parents have spent obscene amounts of money looking for
the best ways to help their kids become kinder, gentler and more successful.
And unfortunately, a lot of that money was wasted.

That's right, if you're a parent in the U.S. you know that the real

parents may be P.P.
What is that? Peer Pressure.

But that's not the case in France, Spain. Italy or Greece.
The real parenting champ in these countries may be the dining

room table.
Also known as family meals.

Eating together most nights of the week may be the best and low-cost
way to help your kids become respected and productive members of society.
So says top researchers and the reason- food is considered more than something
you chew, swallow and then get up and run from the table.

Not so in a lot of European countries, sitting around sharing info, dreams,
and fears with 2 or more generations of family and friends-results in lower depression
rates, lower odds of having an eating disorder, fewer run-ins with the law,
less truancy (at school) and a lower chance of getting pregnant (girls).
And for adults, the family meals mean better cholesterol  and blood pressure
readings and weight management.

It seems taking your time to really eat and chew helps keep you physically fit as well.

So, if you thought there was some type of guarded secret as the best way to
help kids succeed, there isn't, the answer is right there in your
kitchen or dining room.

And one last thing, if you really want more secrets as to how the French do so much better at this thing called life, you can get some of the answers online.
Online at Amazon.com/the kindle store, see title to the right...
Once you download your own copy-- find out how the French suffer less depression and stress, have lower rates of heart disease and cancer, are able to drink wine and eat cheese most days of the week, have better vision, have fewer colds and look 5 to 10 yrs. younger than their American counterparts.
Don't delay, order your copy today.

The French Secrets For A Stress-Free Life!

Get Less Stress Like  The Women of Paris!

Yes, some stress is good for you, getting a work assignment done at
the last minute or waking up late and having to be at work in 15 minutes.
But, do this on a regular basis and you're only asking for trouble,
what type of trouble?
Elevated blood pressure, (heart disease and stroke) endless snacking

But, hold on, it doesn't have to be this way.
Thanks to new research, you can adopt some secrets from the women

of France to learn how to deal with stress and get healthier in the process.

Some of their secrets....

The women (sometimes men) only cook a few items and you must eat what's

and then running from the table.
The French share tales about their day and ask all members about theirs
and doing this not only alleviates stress, it may also add a few extra yrs.
to your life.
b) Learn To Say No-
In the U.S. women are conditioned to be"people pleasers"
meaning they must never say no. In France, the opposite is true.
The women say no often and something even better -they say No

without feeling guilty.
c) Take A Break-
As in take a vacation. Again men and women may feel guilty taking off of work for more than a wk. But not so in France.
The men and women of France use up their vacations, and not only does it help recharge them (so they become better employees) it also
helps protect their hearts. Non-stop working is especially taxing on your health.
There you have it, 3 things you can do right now to lessen your
stress levels and improve your health.

Natural Remedies For World Travelers!

                     Keep Yourself Safe While Flying!

You don't have to be reminded that flying in this day and age
can be dangerous. And to keep you and your loved ones safe,
do the following...

a) Clean Your Hands-

It's something moms and grandmas have nagged you
about for yrs. Well now, it can really keep you from ending
up in the emergency room or hospital. To avoid becoming
a victim, wash your hands for 15 to 20 secs. with warm, soapy
water and finish  up the process rubbing your hands with
an alcohol-based hand gel. Try Purell or Avant.
b) The Nose Knows-
Due to the high altitudes, the air in a plane can become very dry.
And a dry nose increases your odds of getting an infection.

To avoid this- Use an over-the-counter saline solution.
Look for the brands Ocean or Ayr at drugstores.
c) Boost Your Defenses-
How? By taking a product like Airborne, available
at drugstores. Or eating the herbs and spices that boost
immunity. Spices and herbs like, thyme, oregano,
garlic, basil, allspice and a few others.
And lastly, sleep more. You may pride yourself on
3 to 5 hrs. of sleep, but skimping on sleep
only makes it easier to get more infections.
Aim for 6 hrs. or more.

That's it- and if you want more tips on how to boost immunity,
head to Amazon.com/the kindle store and download a copy of

China and Turkey's Rx To Ease Stress!

                     Eat More Fruit!

As the temperatures change in most parts of the World that means
a change in diet for most of us.
And in the U.S. that means eating less berries, cherries, peaches, plums
and apricots and eating more of the fruits that are available in the Fall.
Fruits like pomegranate, pears, apples, cranberries and honeydew melon.

                                         Stop Colds In Their Tracks!

It's almost that time of yr. again, what time?
Cold and flu season.
Shortened days, too little sunlight, closed windows,
too much fattening foods, etc.
And if you really want to prevent colds and flu this
time of yr. look for help from the folks in South Korea.

South Korea?

Yes, they eat a food called "Kimchi" or a spicy, pickled
cabbage, that's as popular in South Korea as pizza is in the U.S.
And if you go to other parts of the World, (Poland, Germany

or the U.S.) they call it Sauerkraut.
New research says that the combination of spices and cabbage
can help your white blood cells attack invading viruses (germs)
more aggressively.
And if you do get a cold, you;ll recover from it sooner, thanks to
the spices, herbs and cabbage.

So, if you're not a fan of Kimchi or sauerkraut, perhaps this
will help change your mind.

Food Combo Secrets From Around The World!

                                      Combine Foods To Boost Health!

Are you familiar with the term Superfood?
It's a nutrient-rich food that bolsters one's health and well-being.
And if you're a regular at this blog, then you know we tell you
about some superfoods that come from faraway places.
Well, you may want to get on board on the next big trend concerning
superfoods. What is it?

Combining superfoods!

Cutting edge research says that combining certain foods greatly
boost their health benefits--packing a nutritious punch that's several
times greater than when eaten alone.
And if you want to boost your health, then look below for some of the
food combos that'll protect you against diseases like diabetes,
high blood pressure, Alzheimer's, etc.
a) France-
If you're thinking wine, you're right, but if you're a long distance traveler,
then you should have some dark chocolate with your wine.

Although it may not seem like a combo, you'd want any part of, think
of the alternative... a blood clot while traveling on a 8 hour flight,
or sitting in a car for 8 hours straight. Wine and dark choc. improve circulation

throughout the body.
What also works--a bowl of grapes and sliced apples.
Wine with a few slices of kiwi, starting a week or two before your trip.
b) Russia-
If you're guessing an alcoholic beverage, you're right.
But it's not only alcohol, it's also beet juice.
Russians of course have the reputation of being hard
drinkers, but you can actually improve your health with a shot

or two of vodka a day. A small of amount of alcohol lowers blood
pressure, builds strong bones, helps you maintain weight,

and even boosts libido. But overdo it, and you undo all of the benefits.
As for beet juice- it can improve circulation throughout the body,
help the heart beat more efficiently, prevent memory loss
and even boost stamina, thanks to the improved blood flow.
A fun fact, a Russian woman who left Russia  for the U.S. was told
(after living in the U.S. for 10 yrs,) that her blood pressure was a little

high, her secret for bringing it down? Prescribed meds, no- a shot of
vodka with a cut up clove of garlic.
And not only did this combo bring her pressure down, she was still
going to work at age 75.
c) Italy-

Where do you start? The coffee, the garlic or the olive oil?
Those things can help, but in some parts of Italy they eat a
a dessert that helps the people stay diabetes-free.
What is it? A dessert made with berries (straw, black or blueberries)
some balsamic vinegar and black pepper.

This wild combination keeps blood sugar levels steady, helping
you avoid the expensive meds and finger pricks that come
with being a diabetic. You may want to add a little dark honey
or agave nectar to this dish, to counter the bitterness.
d) Denmark-
Like Italy, you have a number of foods to boost health,
fatty fish, Rye bread and olive oil. But it's actually similar
to Italy's combination in that it too, lowers your odds
of becoming a diabetic, the food combo: a top quality
yogurt and some wild berries. In a lot of countries, a small

amount of nuts, some fruit, a piece of cheese or some yogurt
with some berries and honey is all the dessert these people need.
e) Australia-
Want to turbocharge your sex drive? Eat like an Aussie and get
your wish. What food combo is it? Meat and Seafood. Aka surf and turf.

Aussies reportedly make love 3 to 5 times a week and some say top
quality meat and seafood may be the reason.
Both contain ample amounts of zinc, a mineral needed for a strong
and long-lasting sex life. And with the poor quality of meats
and the non-meat eaters in a lot of countries, they're lagging

behind their Aussie brothers and sisters.
So, if you've noticed a decline in your bedroom activities,
perhaps investing in grass-fed beef and wild caught seafood will turn things around. Or do like a Frenchman (or woman) and consume more wine.

Hey, that's it for now, but if you found this post interesting and
want to learn how more great food combos that can fight Fall allergies, prevent certain cancers, lower cholesterol levels, end insomnia, boost metabolism and libido and keep your thyroid in tiptop shape, head on over to Amazon.com/the kindle store, and download your own copy of, see title to the right.

Australia's Outdoor Rx Just For Kids!

                      Get Outdoors Like An Aussie!

When one thinks of Australia what usually comes to mind?
The fit and rugged men, beautiful women, and of course,
beaches with endless sunlight.
Although Australia seems to get a lot of attention for their
scenic beaches and the great outdoors, let's not forget that
some other places around the World, literally see sunlight
for 300 or more days a year.

Places, Puerto Rico, Guam, California, Fiji, The Bahamas, Jamaica,
Tahiti, etc.
And this is the main point of this post... Sunlight.

According to new research, kids are again suffering from something
usually associated with teens and adults, what is it? Nearsightedness.
Yes, too many already suffer from expanded waistlines, diabetes,
and hearts that are beginning to show signs of deterioration, and

now-failing eyesight.
Why?
A group of researchers think a lack of sunshine may be the cause.

No sunlight? That's right, often criticized (skin cancer), the Sun offers a host
of benefits to those who aren't afraid to take advantage of it.
Advantages like,
* Stronger bones,
* A reduction in certain cancers
* A reduced appetite and a speedier metabolism

* A Stronger sex drive (Aussies reportedly have the highest sex drives)
And lastly, a reduced rate of becoming nearsighted.
The researchers say that yr. round exposure to Sun (for 12 to 20 mins.)

lights up dopamine, (a neurotransmitter, and a chemical messenger that helps
send signals to the brain and other vital areas), and it slows the excessive
eye growth linked to the condition.

So, if you're kid is complaining about his or her eyesight and it turns
out to be Nearsightedness, perhaps a few minutes outdoors (away
from the video games) may be the natural cure that can turn it around.
And if you live in spots like Boston, Iceland, Norway or Alaska, and
you only get sunlight for 8 months out of the yr. give your kids
sunflower seeds.
Yes, the new staple used by a lot of U. S. baseball players can end
nearsightedness.

Mexico's Rx For Beautiful Skin!

The Mexican Meal For Beautiful Skin!

What's the one food that's been villified and criticized for
the better part of 2 decades?
What's the one food that's been called a cholesterol raiser
and heart destroyer?
If you said Eggs, give yourself a pat on the back.
And the criticism that it raises cholesterol and heart attack
risk, are just plain not true.

Yes, a small percentage of people who have a family history of
cholesterol and heart disease should avoid the yolks,
but they also have to watch the sweets, white flour, deeply
charred, grilled meats, deep-fried fish, chicken and potatoes,
the sugary beverages and margarine in their diet.
So, if you're opinion has changed, and you want to keep

your skin smooth and fine line-free, then it's time to
start eating and wearing those eggs.

And according to researchers, the country that eats the most
eggs is... Mexico.

Who knew the Mexicans enjoyed their eggs that much?
And if you want to take after the Mexican people, start adding
more of them to your diet.

How do eggs work to stave off the aging process?

The yolks are loaded with compounds that strengthen the tiny
blood vessels that nourish your skin and increase your skin's
moisture and the white part of the egg helps you prevent the fine lines.
Plus,  the yolks not only keep your skin moisturized, they can also
prevent the sagging (especially the neck) that occurs as we age.
And if you're not a fan of eating them, you can also wear your eggs.

Beat the yolk and apply to your neck, hands ( tops of hands)
and the egg white can be applied to your eyes, cheeks and forehead.
Leave on for 15 minutes and then wash off using a mild soap

and warm water. Do this 2X a week for a month or two,
and then once a wk. for maintenance.

That's it, the 25 cent Rx (cost of one egg) for looking 10 to 12 years
younger.
And if you want more info on how the "lowly" egg can improve your

health, head on over to Amazon.com.the kindle store and type
The Great Easter Egg Hunt. in the search bar, once you see it,
download it. Learn how the yolks can help you prevent a host of
eye problems, like (cataracts and macular degeneration) well into your
golden years. You'll also learn how to combine eggs with 3 other
foods to give you the complexion of a teenager.

France's Rx For Becoming More Creative!

                                Cheers To Becoming More Brilliant!

Do you have trouble coming up with creative ideas?
Need help thinking of a solution to that may help
boost your financial problems?
Well, why not do what the French, (the Greeks, Germans,
Italians, Chileans and Spaniards) have done for decades.

what is it?
Have a glass of wine.

Wine, to become more creative?

Yes, a glass of red or white wine helps you think of those
"out-of-the-box" ideas that may lead you to become the

next big fashion designer or movie maker.
Wine hampers your ability to focus, and that's a good thing,
why?
A brain that's fuzzy and unable to concentrate is a brain
that make connections between unrelated ideas, resulting
in flashes of incredible insight.

And for those who don't drink, there's something else you can do
to become more creative, what is it? Do like the people of Tibet and India.

Sit still and concentrate only on your breathing. This exercise helps your
brain filter out less important info, so you can focus on the things that really
matter, (like the plot of your next movie).
And one last tip about wine, new research says that wine can really
do a number on teeth and gums, so make sure to practice good dental hygiene
after a glass or two.

Good Luck!

Ethiopia's Rx To Staying Young and Healthy!

                      Drink More Coffee!

When it comes to coffee, you always hear about Colombia and
Brazil. But what about Ethiopia?
They too, also are some of the biggest coffee producers and
consumers in the World.
And if you're still not convinced, that it (coffee) will do any good
to benefit your health, continue reading.

a) An Improved Memory-
Concerned about memory loss or worse-Alzheimer's?
Well, adults who get 2 or cups a day are 60% less likely to
develop memory problems.
Also helpful: have your coffee with a little milk or sugar.
Overdoing the cream, the sugar and having a pastry, or other type

of sweet (with your coffee)  is what really causes the
health problems, not the coffee.
b) A Mood Booster-
Are you the type that worries most of the day?
Or do you see the glass as half-empty?
To end the negative thinking and blue moods, drink more
coffee.
c) Lower Diabetes Risk-
Concerned about becoming diabetic?
Put those fears aside with 2 or more cups of coffee.

It lowers your odds of getting diabetes by 40%.
d) Sharper Vision-
Another concern as one ages, vision loss.
Not with coffee around, it doesn't have to happen. And some more benefits of a cup or two or three of coffee a day, reduce skin cancer risks, lower your odds of getting MRSA, keep your heart in tiptop shape and lower your blood pressure.

That's it- and if you weren't so sure about the benefits of drinking coffee, this blog post puts those fears to rest.

The World's Best Remedies To Lower Blood Pressure!

Lower Blood Pressure Easily and Naturally!

Want to decrease your risk of heart attacks and strokes?
Keep your blood pressure in the normal or below normal range.
And too high blood pressure not only increases your risk of
heart attack and strokes, it'll also increases your odds of
getting Alzheimer's, certain cancers and osteoporosis.
That's right- so you see, it's not just about heart attacks and
strokes.

Luckily, there there are some simple solutions and they come to

us from our friends from "Far-away" places.
Places like...

a) France-
Specifically the countryside of France--where herbs and spices

are used and the one spice that'll really lower blood pressure is..
Cardamom. This aromatic spice can help normalize blood
pressure in as little as 3 months. Use it to season soups
or meat dishes. Or pour (1//2) tsp. into a mug, pour in some
boiling water, let sit for 5 mins. and then sip slowly.
Or go to Amazon.com and buy Cardamom tea bags.
Jamaica-
The Sunny days and laid-back lifestyle help to lower blood
pressure, but they also use something from a plant.
No, not that plant, it's  the Hibiscus tree.
It too, can help lower blood pressure, especially when it's drunk
like a tea. Look for hibiscus tea bags at tea shoppes
or go online to TeaHaven.com/
c) Mexico-
Believe it or not, the Mexican people eat more eggs, more than any
other country and it's the eggs that help lower blood pressure.
If you don't have cholesterol issues, eat the yolks, if chol. is an issue,

stick to the egg whites.
Also popular in South and Central America countries, hot peppers.
Won't it cause blood pressure to rise? No, just the opposite.
Think of it (hot pepper) as a plumber's snake, cleaning and clearing

out of that sludge and debris from your system, and this helps blood
flow more efficiently, thus lowering bl. pressure.
d) Belgium-
Yes, it's the chocolate, but it must be a high quality type of
chocolate. Chocolate like pepper, helps arteries relax and blood
flow more smoothly. Look for dark chocolate or dark cocoa
at health-food store or online.
e) Austria-
Not much is known about Austria, but they used to (or still do)
produce a number of young people (boys) that can sing.
And if you sing, (in the car or in the shower) you can expect lower
blood pressure. It singing helps you breathe more deeply and
that deeper breathing helps lower blood pressure.
f) Denmark-
The Danes do a number of things right, eat top quality
bread, (Rye) eat tons of fish, get outdoors and exercise, keep
homes and workplaces clutter-free and they eat potatoes.

Yes, although given a bad rap the last few yrs. potatoes
(with the skins) help lower blood pressure as effectively as
bl. pressure meds. Give credit to the potassium in them,

the more potassium in your system, means it'll wash out
the harmful sodium. Make sure to boil or bake them (no frying)

Some other foods that contain potassium...
tomato sauce (homemade to control the salt) raisins (eat only a few)
and bananas (2 medium-sized) should do the trick.

That's it, and if you want to know how the Brits, the Hunzas,
the Thais, the Irish, the Italians, the Chinese, the Japanese,
the Tibetans and the Greeks control their blood pressure,
head on over to Amazon.com/the kindle store and download
a copy of -see title below.

Your good (blood pressure) health depends upon it.

Good Luck!

World's No. 1 Superfood For Better Health!

                       More Beans Please!

The past 10 years has brought us the term "Superfoods"
What is a "superfood?"
A nutrient-rich food that benefits health in a number of ways.

Some say the top superfood is garlic, and then there are those that

say it's blueberries, and others argue it's fatty fish (salmon) and then
others say it's a beverage, and the beverage is green tea.
Well, we can all agree, the foods just mentioned, deserve the praise and

adulation, but there's one food that some say is a "superfood" because
it may help you reach age 100 or beyond.

The Food: Beans!

The top longevity experts who write about the nations
with the longest living people say they eat a lot of beans.
People from Chile, Tuscany, Sicily, Turkey, and the Himalayan mountains
make beans the main part of most meals.
And if you're a fan of beans, then you may want to know that 2 types of beans
can help you with 2 heath issues you may be dealing with.
The 2 health issues: Heartburn and Overeating.
And the 2 types of beans: Kidney and Pinto.

First, heartburn...
Beans contain a lot of fiber and that fiber can subdue the searing pain of
heartburn. Plus, fiber-rich foods help move food out of the stomach faster,
reducing pressure that pushes acid up into the esophagus, helping to
lower your odds of getting heartburn.
Now on to overeating.
Pinto beans, popular in Native American cultures, help those who are
struggling with gluttony. Do you eat a big meal and an hour
later, start looking for more food?

Well, it happens to a number of people, but here in the U.S.
it's epidemic and researchers say you may not be eating enough
fiber-rich foods. Fiber-rich foods provide you with nutrients
that give you a feeling of fullness, and eating processed and fast
foods do the opposite...out-of-control cravings and feelings
of never being satisfied. And there's more, new research says that
pinto beans (tested out of 100 foods) is one of the top 5 foods that'll

help you stay disease-free throughout your life.
So, are you convinced? Ready to trade in those steaks, chicken thighs
and burgers for more beans?
If so, start slowly, once a week have beans for lunch and dinner and
as the wks. progress-add more beans to your daily menus.
And if you plan on eating more beans, buy them fresh, (soak them overnight)
or buy em canned, (make sure to rinse them first).

That's it, and if you want more great info like this, head on over
to Amazon.com/the kindle store and look for our E-Documents that
tell you how to live to 90 and beyond. Look for 3 in particular.

Natural and Drug-Free Ways To Lower Blood Pressure.

American City Rx To Lower Blood Pressure!

The Philly Rx To Lower Blood Pressure!

Although we rarely feature health tips from the U.S.
Today, we decided to change directions and do it.
It's not that there aren't some great health tips
we can get from the U.S. it's just that countries
overseas seem to have a lot more to offer.

But not today, according to some historians,
the oldest street in the U.S. may be located in

Philadelphia PA. And what's so unusual about that?
It's a cobblestone street.

Again, what's so unusual about cobblestone
streets? They're located in parts of France,
Italy and Spain.

Well, if your blood pressure is starting to rise,
you may want to take advantage of that cobblestone.

That's right, the streets offer you more than curb appeal,
walking barefoot on them can bring your B.P. down about
5 points in less than 3 months. How so?
There are thousands of acupressure points on your feet,
and when you stimulate those points through massage
or walking barefoot, you can change a number of things
(health-wise) and one being, lowering your blood pressure.

So, are you ready to head to Elfreth Street in Phil. PA?
Or would you prefer to go barefoot in Italy or Spain?
Well, whatever you decide, remember the walking has to be
done without shoes and it must be done for about 12 weeks.
And for those unwilling to go barefoot outdoors or unwilling to
pay to go to Philly, Italy or Spain, there are cobblestones mats
you can purchase and  bring your blood pressure down in the
privacy of your own home.
Look for the Mats online at Amazon.com.

And if you want more tips on how certain countries can
help you bring down your blood pressure, look
for our next E-document available right now at
Amazon.com/in the kindle store. See title to the right.
Don't spend yrs. going back and forth to the Dr.'s
office or paying for pills month after month.

Good Luck!

Asia's Fruit Rx For Better Moods!

                             Boost Moods Naturally!

Treating depression is big business. A very big business.

Giving Rx meds to those who are down seems to be the most
popular type of medicine to those who are suffering.

But things are done differently in a lot of countries,
how so?

In some countries, the fruit peel is used and prized more than
the fruit itself.
And in some Asian countries, the people use banana peels to help
prevent depression. They serve them fried or steamed and this may
explain the low rates of depression in a lot of Asian countries.
The peels contain tryptophan, which the brain uses to make serotonin,

its own antidepressant. And eating the peel a few times a week
can raise your serotonin levels within a matter of weeks.
So, if you're feeling down, blue or negative, give the lowly
banana peel a try.

To make your own antidepressant medicine, use a small amount of the
peel to start.
Simmer in a pot of water, to get rid of germs and pesticides.
After 8 to 10 mins. remove the peel, cut up and place in a blender
and add it to a smoothie or a bowl of oatmeal.
And there are some other things you can do to boost moods, things

like...
*eat more fish, (not deep fried) and without fattening side dishes
( like French fries or Mac and Cheese).

* Exercise- walking and dancing count
* Volunteer- helping others make you forget your problems.
* Get Some Sun. Vitamin D from the Sun helps boosts mood. And...
* Eat more meals with family and friends.

That's it, amd in the not-to-distant future, we'll bring you more tips
on using fruit peels to melt fat, lower cancer rates and stroke risks.

Good Luck!

Iceland's Rx To Lower Blood Pressure!

Eat This To Lower Blood Pressure!
Treating high blood pressure is almost as costly as treating
sleep disorders, diabetes, anxiety, depression, cancers and
heart disease.

Well, thanks to new research, you may be able to lower it without
resorting to dangerous or costly drugs.
And the new, alternative approach comes from Iceland.
What is it?
Eat Skyr.
Skyr is the traditional yogurt of Iceland, and it's not really

a yogurt, but a cultured, dairy product that's creamy, rich and tangy.

Researchers think probiotic-rich foods like Greek yogurt and
skyr may be able to lower blood pressure by a few points,
allowing people to give up the dangerous and costly drugs many
are now dependent on.
But it's just not Skyr, the Danes also eat a yogurt that rich and creamy
and full of probiotics. In fact, they eat their dairy product as
a dessert with some berries and it may be the reason for the low
levels of diabetes among Danish people.

And if you're not a fan of dairy, do like the South Koreans and eat
Kimchi, yes the spicy and fermented dish known as Kimchi is
a probiotic.

And the Germans and Polish have their own versions of probiotics
called Sauerkraut and pickles.
That's it- some alternative solutions to a very serious problems.

Look for Skyr, (try Siggis), Greek yogurt, sauerkraut, pickles
and Kimchi at your local supermarkets or go to any Asian specialty
store or go online and see if you can order any of these products
from your computer.

And lastly, if you want more info on how the Danes, Icelanders, Norwegians, Swedes and Finns keep their blood pressure in the normal range...head on over to Amazon.com/the kindle store and download, see title to the right...

The World's Best Rxs For a Great Summer!

Healthy Tips For A Great Summer!

The Summer season is only 4 wks. old. That means there are still another
6 wks. to enjoy and take advantage of the great weather.
If you suffer from some of the things associated with the Summer season,

perhaps your friends in Italy, France, or Greece can help.

Things like, skin damage from too much Sun, or headaches, or
bloat. You know, things you may also suffer from in the Fall or Winter.
(depending where you live)

Well, to help put an end to those pesky things, let's get some help
from our friends overseas. First up,
a) Headaches-
Too many salty hot dogs may be the cause, but to put
an end to that head throbbing pain, we'll get help
from Greece. And their solution is to go Nuts.
Not literally, but as in eat nuts, they're a great source of magnesium,
an important mineral that ends the head pain.
And if you're deficient in this mineral, it's usually caused by excessive sweating.
So, do like the Greeks and eat a few walnuts, almonds, and pistachios.

You may have to rinse them first, as some come with a lot of salt.
And lastly, skip the processed foods, (white rolls and hot dogs)
and fill yourself with fresh fruits, vegetables and nuts.
b) Bloat-
Ladies, don't think bloating happens in the Summertime?

It does, and it usually means your body's trying to hold onto
water in an attempt to stay cool. To fix it, get help from Italy
or France and use Fennel. The licorice-tasting plant is used in
soups and salads and the seeds to make a tea. Fennel is
one of the best foods to help flush up to 4 to 5 pounds of
excess water from your system.
Another tip: some doctors recommend it to pregnant women to
end their cravings for junk food and keep weight down.
Go online to Google.com if you're not sure how to buy or cook it.
c) Boost Energy-
Who wants to expend energy in the Summer?
Well, if you need to get an outdoor job done, but don't
have the energy to do so, look for help from the Japanese,
the Greeks or Italians, and the tip is...eat Seafood.
Popular in these countries, seafood is rich in nutrients
that help your liver convert food into energy enzymes.
Just make sure you prepare the seafood in a way that's
beneficial to your health, No deep frying it.
d) A Natural Sunscreen-
Concern about skin cancer is on the minds of parents everywhere, and if this is a concern you have, look for help in the Middle East.
The solution: Pomegranate. As popular in the Middle East as apples are to Americans. Pomegranate, the seeds or the juice can strengthen the internal tissues that cause skin to become damaged.
It works so well, it's able to block out about 30% of the Sun's harmful rays.

Also helpful- cooked tomatoes. How many Italians do you know
that are afflicted with skin cancer? Just asking.
And speaking of tomatoes, they also help you get to sleep and stay asleep in these hot and humid days. The more you eat, the more deeply you'll
sleep. Also helpful: Watermelon, the "official" food of Summer.
Make a tomato and watermelon salad and really get some deep sleep.

That's it, 5 tips to help you get through this Summer easily and
effortlessly. And if you want more tips like these,
head to Amazon.com/the kindle store and look for our latest
E-Documents...see both titles to the right.
One will help you avoid the scourge known as skin cancer. using food,
the other- will reveal how the people of Denmark, Australia,

Morocco, Italy, France, China, Japan, Belgium, Greece
and Thailand don't have the same struggles with weight,

as their American counterparts seem to have.
Do yourself and your family a favor and order both today.
Are you or your family worth a combined $4.00?

Good Luck!
